  1. Add "mail.example.com" (mail subdomain) in Subject Alternative Names when option "Assign the certificate to mail domain" is selected

    Currently almost all mail clients (I used) need the server address to be in the Subject Alternative Names on the certificate, meaning if the configured address is "mail.example.com" instead of "example.com", that first subdomain is not present in the certificate, even when the option "Assign the certificate to mail domain" is selected when issuing the certificate.

  2. Purge before restore (delete existing content before restoring from backup)

    If I want to restore all files of a domain because the website has been hacked.... default restoration will simply overwrite existing file.

    In the cased of a hacked website, hackers can add suspicious files on the domains and those files won't be remove upon restoration.

    It will be great to have an option allowing us to opt for a purge before restoration so that we can completely replace the files, databases, etc. and not simply overwrite existing files.

  3. Ability to add CNAME for Domain Root

    Please add the possibility to add a CNAME for rootdomain instead of an A-record, so-called CNAME flattening feature.

  4. Created Scheduled Tasks (Cron jobs) via Plesk GUI should be registered in the action log

    At the moment the created Scheduled Tasks (Cron jobs) via Plesk GUI are not registered in the action log.

    Also, according to /var/log/messages and /var/log/cron it is not clear what task was created, the name of the task and it is also difficult to understand was the cron task created or not.

  5. [Plesk firewall] Add a possibility to see in Plesk GUI the logs of connections dropped by different Plesk firewall rules

    It would be nice to be able to assess the effectiveness of Plesk firewalls rules, especially the ones manually placed by Plesk users.

    This information would be important to see in Plesk GUI if this is implemented:

    1. date and time stampts
    2. the name of rule
    3. the exact IP address from where the connection was dropped
    4. the destination port and protocol

  6. to add an ability to hide warning about "The DNS zone was modified"

    Please add an ability to hide the following warning in case the changes were applied to a particular domain intentionally:

    Warning: The DNS zone was modified. If you would like to apply changes in the DNS template to this zone, either click the 'Apply DNS Template Changes' button on this page or go to the Server Administration Panel > Tools & Settings > DNS Template Settings > Apply DNS Template Changes and choose the 'Apply the changes to all zones' option.

  7. Awstate update to supports Geoip registration

    As AWstat is still core part of Plesk, will it be good to have a solution out-of-the-box that is able to geolocalize the hits isn't it ?

  8. Allow roles that are limited to managing specific domains within a subscription

    Allow creation of sub users with access to only one domain or subdomain inside the subscription

    If a customer owns a subscription with 2 or 3 domains it would be useful that a user for a webdev could be added so that he can manage the domain/subdomain not only from FTP but Dbs etc.

  9. Extend restart options for docker

    Currently, Docker extension only supports "no" and "unless-stopped" (represented by "Automatic start after system reboot" tickbox).
    It would be nice having the ability to select any of:

    no
    on-failure
    always
    unless-stopped

  10. Programmatically set Forwarding Proxy to Docker container

    If it becomes possible to set those proxies in a bash script the rules can be activated/deactivated when, for instance, we're running an update via any automated CI service.

  11. The MediaWiki version currently installable through Plesk is outdated

    In Plesk 17.8.11, the MediaWiki version currently available is 1.31.0, which is outdated. The long-term support version is at 1.31.6, and the most recent one at 1.34.0, see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Download.

    Please consider updating the installer.

  12. Backup Extension for Google Cloud / Amazon Glacier

    Plesk does currently only support Amazon S3. Amazon Glacier is cheaper than S3 and also good for backups. Also support for Google Cloud would be great since at the moment, Plesk does only support Google Drive which is no professional backup (example: https://github.com/plesk/ext-cloud-backup-example).

  15. Ability to set sender email address from Plesk

    As a Plesk administrator, I would like to set the sender email addres for PHP scripts.

    The below article isn't applicable when using e.g. WordPress.

  17. Monitoring Mailbox activity

    Feature in Plesk GUI to monitor Mailboxes activity:
    - Know which mailboxes didn't have activity in a specific period of time. For example, this would be useful to clean up mailboxes without activity.
    - Know which mailboxes activity with forwarding enabled in a specific period of time.
    - Possibility to cleanup selected mailboxes from same GUI.

  18. Configure restrictions and perimissions on subscription level for SEO Toolkit

    It would be very useful if an MSP can offer SEO Toolkit to their customers. At this point this is almost impossible for 2 reasons:
    1. Plans of the SEO Toolkit are not designed for hosting providers and MSP, but for end users and agencies. (there are not enough resources if you have a thousand clients on one server for example).
    2. There is no ability to set limitations and permissions for SEO toolkit based on the limitations of the module itself. E.g. Count of domains, urls to analyse, keywords, so now if a provider even buys the plugin as…

  19. Option to disable SNI for a domain in SSL Settings

    If a domain has SNI disabled from IIS > Site > example.com > Bindings, Plesk reverts it back to Enabled when it pushes changes to IIS.

    It would be nice to have an option in the domain's SSL settings to turn ON/OFF SNI and lock it.
