  2. Administration: list domains, using the installed SSL certificates

If I want to remove on "Tools & Settings > SSL Certificates" expired certificates, I can not delete it when it is still used by a domain. I can not see which subscriptions use the expired SSL certificate. So I have to click through all domains individually and look in the hosting settings. The assigning of a standard certificate via "Tools & Settings > IP Address" does not work for all domains.

  3. Prevent users from installing SSL certificates

As reseller (or administrator) we should be able to prevent customers installing a selfsigned or 3rd party bought SSL certificate themselves.

It's not possible to disable the 'SSL support' check box within the
'Service Plans' menu section 'Hosting Parameters' because as Administrator we install customer SSL certificates by API. Disabling 'SSL support' will also disable installing SSL certificates by API.

  4. Disable Apache & Nginx access logs (and error maybe) through Plesk panel.

Access logs are not useful in most cases and we should have a feature to disable them through Panel not go and edit vhosts.

  5. Supporting SSL resellers

We need to protect with SSL certificates panels resellers. It is currently not possible.
This should be an urgent implementation.
Resellers constantly have the error that the website is not secure.

Right now we can only put a SSL to protect the panel. We need to protect the panel for more domains.

    Example:

    https://domain1.es:8443
    https://domain2.es:8443
    https://domain3.es:8443

    etc...

Forgive my translation, I use google translator.

  6. Add debug symbols for nginx builds

We have a customer using plesk and nginx. The customer wants to use our APM tool also for monitoring nginx, but in order to get deep monitoring we need the debug symbols for nginx.

The customer is currently using package sw-nginx-1.9.4-rhel6.15091112.x86_64.rpm. The contained nginx binary does not contain debug symbols and we also could not find a corresponding “dbg” package in the repository. Are the debug symbols publicly available somewhere else? If not, can you please provide them?

It would be perfect if you can add the debug symbols for every nginx version in future to your repository as APM…

  7. Email notifications frequency

With email notifications enabled e.g for account expiration, the system starts to send emails every day since the x days in advance, which is annoying.
It would be nice if we could customize the frequency and create a schedule like for example:
    1 email 30 days before
    1 email 20 days before
    1 email 10 days before
    1 email 7 days before
1 email each day from 3 days before till expiration date.

  9. Changing soa serial format by using the XML RPC API

It is possible to set the soa serial format either over the Plesk Panel or the command line, f.e.

    /usr/local/psa/bin/dns --update-soa <domain_name|domain_alias_name> -soa-serial-format timestamp|yyyymmddnn

However, the XML RPC API should provide a possibility to change the soa serial format, too. Currenlty, the XML RPC API only allows to manipulate the values for the SOA's ttl, refresh, retry, expire and minimum.

Your interface for scanning and auto update WordPress CMS is usefull & comfortable, but many our clients are installing Joomla CMS as well. Please add to Plesk admin panell the same tool for Joomla installations too.

  11. change domain alias

when i have a domain alias (lets say alias.com) for domain test.com and i want to change the alias to test2.com, if have to delete the alias and recreate it.
if i have many custom dns records in the alias, i have to create them again manually.
it should be possible to just change the aliases "main-domain"

Since Plesk 18.0.46 Nginx is shipped with GeoIP module. Please see https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/website-management/websites-and-domains/extended-website-management/plesk-for-linux-setting-up-ip-geolocation-for-a-website.80011/

While this feature request is asking for an Apache module, we are wondering whether this is still needed as the same goals can be achieved with Nginx GeoIP in a much better way with less server resources.

Please comment in this feature request why you still need the Apache GeoIP module.

  14. add the ability to install Roundcube plugins

Is it true that Plesk's Roundcube version does not support plugins like the Calendar plugin listed on https://myroundcube.com/myroundcube-plugins/calendar-plugin.

My service provider Codero told me that it is not possible to install plugins to my Plesk Roundcube email. Is this true?

This feature request has not yet gained a lot of traction. Maybe this is because some users are indeed installing Roundcube plugins., You can download Roundcube plugins via SSH for example, then untar the archives to the Roundcube plugin directory. Once the files have been installed, add the plugin to the $config['plugins'] array in the config.inc.php file. Plesk updates will not overwrite it.

Anyway, would it be nicer to have this in the Plesk GUI? Everyone please keep voting for this feature if you believe it is important.

  15. integrated imagemagick within plesk for windows

Often customers ask about a imagemagick support.it would be nice if imagemagick is bundled with plesk and can install as optional component.

I start using more and more nginx+php-fpm now in Server Health my apache cpu is very low, the nginx its the same, but I have no report on cpu and memory usage by all php-fpm process.

It will be nice if we can filter thoso graph by domain (php-fpm pool)

    Thanks!

We will consider an option to edit the default page directly from within Plesk GUI in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

For the time being you can already edit the default page that is located in /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs on the system level.

  19. Add Aliases for Subdomains

You are currently not able to Alias a subdomain through plesk. Instead you must create the subdomain as a primary if you wish to alias it. In many situations it would make sense from an organizational standpoint to keep the subdomain under a main domain while still adding aliases to it. I do not believe this is a technical restriction of the webservers so it would be helpful if plesk allowed you to add aliases to subdomains.

  20. Enable chrooted sftp for more than one user per account

If I use FTP, I can make as many users as I want. For various reasons, using FTP is not optimal at my workplace. I'd like to be able to let each ftp user I create log in with chrooted sftp.

I'm able to modify /etc/passwd and /var/www/vhosts/example.org/etc/passwd to make it work, but doing that manually kind of defeats the point of using a tool like Plesk...

Specifically, I give the ftp user the same home directory, and shell as the initial sftp user has in each passwd file.

This is a valid request, so we’ll look into it. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features.

The original request contains a manual solution, so, we consider to automate it. Please, add a comment if your case will not be solved with that solution.

    Thanks in advance!
