  1. FTP storage setting for backups for multiple subscriptions.

    When added the FTP server storage parameter in the settings of the Plesk panel (tools&settings - Backup Manager - FTP Storage Settings) for the backup.
    Automatically distribute this FTP repository to all subscriptions as a place for backup by default.

  2. Enhanced VPN support

    Since VPN connection are more and more common, and mobile devices used to connect to monitor servers, there is a need for an enhancement on the old VPN Add-on on plesk (linux).
    Currently the IOS and Android OpenVPN client does not support secret — Static key encryption mode (non-TLS) is not supported.
    from https://docs.openvpn.net/docs/openvpn-connect/openvpn-connect-ios-faq.html
    Which is the only way to use the Plesk VPN connection because it does not support certificates.
    There is a lot of literature on troubles with VPN on mobile, but basically, all of them are due to old style, unsecured way to connect to VPN.

  4. Ability to customize nginx per site template e.g. Location /, Location ~, etc

    Hello, I'm using Plesk Onyx and I've also bumped into problems with not being able to set correct NGINX Directives.

    Regarding nginx and nginx configuration for various CMS, Web Apps etc, I see that a lot of directives need to be set and there are a lot of scattered issues around in the web.
    For example most CMS will require a
    location / { ... }
    or for google's pagespeed test we need to add expire headers e.g.
    location ~* .*.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif|ico|css|js)$ {
    expires 14d;
    }

    I think the Model to building the final vhost conf file should be revised instead…

  5. Manage .ftpaccess directives in Plesk like additional Apache & Nginx settings

    Add functionality to manage .ftpaccess directives in Plesk like it is possible to add additional apache settings for domains.

  7. License Cost Management

    License Cost Management, it would be very interesting for the system to show how much it is being spent monthly, based on the paid licenses, so that the owner of the provider can have a love of how much he is spending to keep his business running, with this being much more It is easy for him to plan the growth of it.

  9. Allow multiple Docker hosts (local and remote), ability to specify host per container.

    The Docker extension only allows you to "one service at a time" (ie, localhost, or a remote).

    It would be nice if when I provision a Docker container that I could choose to provision it on localhost (for speed, security) or remotely (for containers that don't need to run on the shared host and/or consume significant resources).

    For example, I almost always want to provision Redis locally for speed, but if someone wanted something like MS SQL Server 2017 (4GB RAM minimum), I'd probably want to put it on a dedicated Docker remote with a high memory configuration (extreme example…

  11. Implement VersionPress as part of your WordPress Toolkit. It uses WP-Cli and is Open Source.

    Implement VersionPress as part of your WordPress Toolkit. It uses WP-Cli and is Open Source.

    By contributing to the project and having other devs already working on it, you will be able to amplify the speed of work being done.

    Further, this project is the holy grail of WordPress development. People would literally flock to Plesk for this feature alone (not to mention its awesome in other ways).

    Please seriously consider contacting the VersionPress Team. This Project basically takes the idea of Git integration, staging, and data syncing to the next level. Database changes are checked in to Git as…

  13. Make default Plesk Firewall rules more strict

    Right now "System policy for outgoing traffic" rule is set to allow all outgoing traffic as default which is not secure enough.

    Please consider to make default firewall rules for outgoing traffic more secure and allow only Plesk services to send outgoing packets

  15. Better migration of "PHP from OS vendor" parameters

    Please consider the following use case:
    - testdomain.tld on a CentOS target server is using "PHP from OS vendor" version 5.3;
    - The destination server is Ubuntu 14, with newer version of PHP from OS vendor, so you install PHP 5.3 with Plesk Installer;
    - The migrated testdomain.tld will have different PHP parameters that may cause disruption of the website.

    An example: PHP short open tag is enabled by default on PHP from CentOS repository, but is disabled on PHP 5.3 handler installed via Plesk Installer. If a PHP code uses short open tags, the script will stop working. Plesk…

    The problem may be in that destination server will not be able to use specified version of PHP for the migrated domain because of absence in official OS vendor’s repository. To prevent this kind of problems we see improvement of pre-migration checker which will notify you about possible post-migration issues. After that, the server administrator must solve the problem himself. The automatic resolving of these incompatibilities looks very dangerous.

  17. Configuring the Default Remote Access Policy for MS SQL and PostgreSQL via UI

    Right now, it is possible to manage Access Policy only for MySQL Database Servers only: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/database-servers/database-hosting-preferences.72875/

    It would be good to manage Remote Access Policy for MS SQL and PostgreSQL via Plesk UI too.

  18. Add ip manually to fail2ban

    It is not possible to add an ip manually to fail2ban trough Plesk interface. Sometimes you detect an offending ip address which you want to ban from your system, before it is detected by recidive rule.

  20. Update DotNetNuke Support to the latest version

    Hello Support,

    please update DotNetNuke / evoq Support to the latest version.
    http://www.dnnsoftware.com/
    Plesk only support the "out of the box installation" form DotNetNuke v7.0.6.
    This Version is more than 2 years old and totally outdated.
    Please give a the opportunity to install the latest Version which is 9.1.x (Aug.-2017).
    There are always some trouble with permissions in combination with Plesk. Plesk shall solve the problem with a clean initial installation.
    Thanks.
