An option to hide the DNSSEC menu for customers
Please implement an option in Plesk to hide the DNSSEC menu for customers.
Currently, it's only possible to hide the DNS management menu completely. It will be useful if there's an option to hide the DNSSEC button only, while the other DNS settings could still be managed by the customer.
3 votesThank you for your idea. Could you please describe what exactly would be useful about hiding the DNSSEC option? What is the business case where this is needed and how does it improve the user<->system interaction?

DNS access for domain from SSL Certificate Registration
When registering a new SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt, is there no way you can give access to add the challenge TXT record on the DNS directly from the SSL form providing the Chalenge key. Having to have more than one form open one on domains and the other on the website config is crazy. it will just make life so much easier.
1 voteWildcard DNS entries do not need to be made manually when the Plesk server is the DNS server. Please provide more details what the business case is that you need to add the entries manually or contact Plesk support if these are not added to your DNS on the same server automatically.

External SMTP service per domain
We know we can leave plesk using an external SMTP service, but it's for the whole server. There are also several guides on how to let postfix use relay with external SMTP, for example AWS SES.
It would be great if we could use an external SMTP service per domain, using different credentials.
3 votesThank you for your idea. Could you please elaborate why you cannot simply route your MX records to the external server and let your website login there to submit mail?

Support for Load-Balancers (Hosting Company Structure)
Add the possibility for Load Balancers to detect on what Server a domain is hosted.
This would make it possible to use Load Balancers without heavy API Integrations and headaches.
2 votesThis feature request aims at a skill that a load balance shall have, not what a server connected to a load balancer shall have. Could you please provide more details what exactly you expect a server to provide so that a load balancer can find out that the server is authoritative for a domain? At first sight this would be the IP address that is registered for the domain in DNS. But what method would you want to suggest instead?

Create and manage sites
The authorization available for creating users is the "Create and manage sites" authorization
"1-Create and manage the main site",
"2-Create and manage Subsites"
"3-Delete the sites"
there are 3 authorization divisions.
i would like to allocate critical tasks to our plesk panel users.
1 voteUsers an already create, edit, delete sites according to their specific role. Have you seen the role management in the "Users" menu of the subscription? Please describe in more detail what exactly you need to add to the feature that already exists and please provide a business case why this can make Plesk a better product.

Hi, showing the numbers of files and folders in each directory is needed.
Hi, showing the numbers of files and folders in each directory is useful.
1 voteThank you for your idea. Could you please describe the business case where this is needed? Do you need the number of files in one directory or the accumulated number of files including recursive counting through subdirectories? What will the results be used for?

1 voteThank you for your idea. Currently, Plesk already has three antivirus options. Could you please explain why you would prefer a fourth? What makes your favorite solution so much better than the existing options?

proxy server module
i miss much a proxy server module like squid.
1 voteThank you for your idea. Plesk includes Nginx as a front-end reverse proxy. Nginx also features caching of static files. Could you please provide some evidence on the advantages that you see using Squid over the built-in Nginx reverse proxy solution?

Mail service availability for Wildcard subdomains
It would be helpful if mail service of Plesk could be provided for wildcard subdomains. Especially in situations involving catch all mail forwarding.
1 voteThank you for your idea. Wildcard subdomains for email is an extremely rarely seen scenario. Could you please describe in detail what this is needed for and why you believe that it is something many users will need?

Harden Your PHP for Better Security
We should all consider PHP security, giving us the option to Harden our PHP through the GUI or add an optimizer that does it automatically by scanning the websites.
2 votesThank you for your idea. Please add, what hardening needs to be done specificially. Also, what optimizer you have in mind that can scan websites, what that software should look for in websites and what is expected as a result of such a scan. Do you have examples?

Bringing an option to open or close encrypted directories in the password-protected directories section.
Bringing an option to open or close encrypted directories in the domain name directory encryption section. This way, you won't have to delete the password to open the directory.
2 votesIt yet needs to be explained what opening or closing of encrypted (probably password-protected?) directories should do. If they ought not be password-protected, why not simply remove password-protection?

Ability to automatically delete a mail after being forwarded using the XML API
Give to the XML API in the node forwarding, an option to automatically delete a mail after being forwarded.
1 voteForwarded emails (by a forwarding configuration in the mail server) are not stored. Could you please describe the start situation from where you forward an email? Is it truly mail forwarding or is it sending an email to a recipient that resides in the mailbox?

Improve Plesk Country Firewall Usability
Plesk Country Firewall
1) Add a check for duplicate country abbreviations on save.
2) (x) add checkbox to sort alphabetically
3) Add a drop down to select the country. Currently you have to look up the country 2 digit code. So add a drop down to select country then add the 2 digit abbreviation.1 voteMost ISO codes of rogue nations are well known. We think that changes to geo IP blocking are rarely needed. To keep development costs reasonably low, perfect comfort for rarely used features is not a priority. In a server's lifetime it may occur twice that this is changed, so we wonder how often this feature is used in your daily routine that the added comfort is required? Please comment how you determine the countries to be blocked and why you change countries often so that we understand your routine better and can provide a better product while trying to keep license prices low.

Add support for Heimdal Agent
Add official support to Heimdal Agent (https://heimdalsecurity.com/) for Plesk on Linux servers, including ARM architecture servers.
1 voteIt seems that Heimdal Agent is a client component of their offer that collects data from a server or interacts with the server. Nothing speaks against installing that on a Plesk maintained server. "Support for Heimdal Agent" probably means that it can be installed as an extension or from a software catalog like APS catalog?

Don't hardcode apache LogFormat in templates
This is simple. All log files are generated by a given format declared in */templates/default/server.php. That's bad if you want to add something to the log format like "%{X-Forwarded-For}i"
1 voteThank you for your idea. Would you like to suggest an alternative?

If you are seeking an integration with Google Backup, Amazon S3 backup, SFTP etc., the Plesk "Backup to Cloud Pro" extension is an excellent choice. This is readily available.
If you are seeking another kind of integration, please use the text field "description" or a comment to describe your idea in more detail so that we can understand it better.

Restricted mode: select subdomains to lock for deletion
Create opportunity to select subdomains that are locked for deletion by additional admin user
1 voteIs this about a four-eyes or six-eyes feature? Like one admin first needs to "prepare" domains or subdomains for deletion, then another admin can delete them? Could you please mention some details on the business case and why such a function would help users to work more efficiently with their server?

Managing crontab via CLI
It would be very conenient to be able to manage the subscriptions' scheduled tasks via CLI.
6 votescronjobs can easily be managed by Linux commands already. They may not be sourced from Plesk, but all tools already exist on the operating system. As cronjobs are read by Plesk from disk, manipulating the corresponding files on disk will set everything you wish. Individual cron files are stored in /var/spool/cron and can be text-edited. You can add files, edit files, append files and delete files using Linux commands. You can also stream-edit files (e.g. insert a commend tag before a line with sed) and also create Linux control while-loops to apply changes to filtered files. Cron can also be controlled directly (https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/crontab.1.html).
Please let us know in details what you are missing or please provide an example how you would like Plesk to work with cron instead.

Oracle Linux 8 Support - CentOS 8 is dead
Hello,
is there any chance to give Oracle Linux to became official supported?
Since the bad news about CentOS 8 EoL on 31.December 2021.
The best option now is Oracle Linux (100% binary compatible OS)Best Regards
22 votesBy the end of 2022 the market share of Oracle Linux was only half of the next up competitor Alma and less than 1/10 of RHEL, Rocky and Alma combined. For that reason, we'd love to hear from you why you believe that Oracle Linux will be the next big player despite the low market share.
For example do you see specific technical reasons why Oracle Linux should be preferred over development for the much more popular platforms? E.g. ARM support and do you actually need it? Are there other aspects that can give good reasons to consider this OS over others?
Please let us know in the comments.
