Add ability to remove "Forgot your password" button from Plesk log in page
Please add option to remove (or restrict access to) "Forgot your password" button in Plesk log in page
3 votesOur experience is that many users run into a situation where they do not remember their login credentials. We'd love to understand why a removal option for a "forgot password" link would improve the product. In what situations is a missing "forgot password" link beneficial for a user?

Protect mail domain name option
It would be very desirable for Plesk to have an option, besides the "include www.domain.name" and "Secure webmail.domain.name" options to "Include mail.domain.name" on issuing a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. If the DNS service is hosted on a 3rd-party service, the mail.domain.name is not secured and the wildcard certificate will not be automatically renewed.
2 votesIs this feature request the same?
We understand that an option to include mail.domain.tld shall be added when issueing LE certificates. However, a domain-validated certificate requires that the domain that such a DV cert protects is on the host that the DV cert protects. When your mail.domain.tld is hosted elsewhere, it cannot be included in a cert. Instead, a matching cert needs to be created and installed on the external host where mail.domain.tld is operated.
As you mention a "wildcard" certificate: It is not possible (by LE) to exclude some subdomains from a wildcard cert. A wildcard always protects all.
For that reason we are having difficulties understanding this feature request correctly. Please rephrase the request or provide more details what exactly is requested and why you believe that this makes sense?

Disable docker exposed ports in firewall
It should be possible to block the port exposing in global nets from docker containers within the firewall.
It's a massive security lack! Most applications are run behind a 'docker proxy rule', so there's no need to expose the port to the whole internet.
Docker's modifying the firewall by itself, so this has to be disabled.1 voteHi Fabian, thank you for your idea. Could you please provide an example what you are currently seeing in traffic, where this results from and what you would like the headers to look like instead? Please redact the true IP address(es) in the example.

One mail server for all subscriptions
I want to create just one mail server for all subscription
Like
smtp.example.com
imap.example.comAnd that settings needs to be for all subscriptions.
3 votesIn all previous Plesk versions and also the latest, the mail server can be addressed by using the host name. That is the same across all domains and subscriptions. You can also have a fully functional SSL/TLS configuration for the mail server through the Tools & Settings page.
Could you please explain what the difference of this feature request is to simply using the host name as mail server?

We need more details to understand this request better. What is meant by an "SQL job" and how should such an integration look like? Is this request asking for functions like already available in phpMyAdmin?

More options to validate domain throw txt record for letsencrypt
More options to validate domain throw txt record for letsencrypt

Improve support for third-party app extensions (particularly WordPress)
At the moment, many third-party app extensions for apps in Plesk like WordPress are not supported without a significant amount of server dependencies being installed. At present, this is not possible to do from within Plesk and requires direct access to server shell and a significant amount of technical skill. It would be great if Plesk incorporated the ability to install server dependencies without needing to use the server shell.
1 voteHi Paul,
with the built-in Plesk WP Toolkit installing, maintaining and using Wordpress works like a charm. Have you already tried it?
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.49 and newer also feature a PECL installer where you can add PHP extensions from within the graphical user interface, saving the hassle to edit configurations on the system level.
Please describe in more detail what is still missing so that your idea gets the required attention.

Backup restoration - all databases of a subscription affected
Hello,
Would be a good UX/UI improvement to get informed that ALL databases of all domains under the subscription would be restored in case the subscription restored from the backup. (all configuration and content)
2 votesWhen a restore of "all configuration and content" is requested, what is the advantage of again confirming that all databases were included when the restore is completed? If it is "all configuration and content" why would someone think that it is not all configuration and content, e.g. only a partial restore?

Better Integration with AWS Services
There needs to be integration with Amazon SES, like make it another option in the SMTP options. The current method of choosing MSMTP (in order to configure it as an external SMTP service) will uninstall your other inbound mail services, like Dovecot and Postfix.
Additionally, a way to integrate the AWS Route 53 service would be very helpful. Maybe this could be added as an Extension.
7 votesRoute 53 extension is already available https://www.plesk.com/extensions/amazon-route53/, https://youtu.be/3F3Byyea0ds. For the other part of this request, "integration with Amazon SES" please describe how such an integration should look like? What should it do, what configuration options do you expect that it is an "integration"?

Managing crontab via CLI
It would be very conenient to be able to manage the subscriptions' scheduled tasks via CLI.
6 votescronjobs can easily be managed by Linux commands already. They may not be sourced from Plesk, but all tools already exist on the operating system. As cronjobs are read by Plesk from disk, manipulating the corresponding files on disk will set everything you wish. Individual cron files are stored in /var/spool/cron and can be text-edited. You can add files, edit files, append files and delete files using Linux commands. You can also stream-edit files (e.g. insert a commend tag before a line with sed) and also create Linux control while-loops to apply changes to filtered files. Cron can also be controlled directly (https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/crontab.1.html).
Please let us know in details what you are missing or please provide an example how you would like Plesk to work with cron instead.

Oracle Linux 8 Support - CentOS 8 is dead
Hello,
is there any chance to give Oracle Linux to became official supported?
Since the bad news about CentOS 8 EoL on 31.December 2021.
The best option now is Oracle Linux (100% binary compatible OS)Best Regards
22 votesBy the end of 2022 the market share of Oracle Linux was only half of the next up competitor Alma and less than 1/10 of RHEL, Rocky and Alma combined. For that reason, we'd love to hear from you why you believe that Oracle Linux will be the next big player despite the low market share.
For example do you see specific technical reasons why Oracle Linux should be preferred over development for the much more popular platforms? E.g. ARM support and do you actually need it? Are there other aspects that can give good reasons to consider this OS over others?
Please let us know in the comments.

Customizable Plesk notification email address
Plesk has the ability to send notifications. However, with the latest version (v18.0.32) these are sent to my "External email address" of the admin user. But since I as admin user enter my Apple iCloud email "name@icloud.com" there, it is used as both sender and recipient and all notification emails end up in the spam folder of my iCloud mail.
It would be really great if you could separate the administrator email from the notification email address and change it specifically so that email notifications are sent from "Plesk@domain.tld" to the external administrator email "name@icloud.com…24 votesAs https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/16956373-set-a-senders-email-address-for-plesk-notification was resolved and the sender address of notifications is now customizable we are wondering whether the issue described in this feature request cannot also be considered solved. The issue here was described as sender and recipient being the same address so that notifications are evaluated as "spam" at the recipient's mailbox. However, now that the sender address can be customized, this could easily be circumvented.
Further, the recipient address of notifications can be freely set in the notifications page.
Please comment if and why this feature request is still actual.

Set MX priority 100 or customize to any value
Possbility to add MX record with priority 100 but plesk allows only to select priorities from 0 to 50. For example to enable mail server to work properly at the OVH they require the configuration to priority 100
1 voteThe actual value of an MX priority does not influence the behavior of other servers directly. It is more a "sorting" criteria. When OVH asks for "100" in a list of their five MX servers as 1, 5, 50, 100, 200, you can also rearrange that list to values like 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 with 15 representing the 100, because it is in the same order "slot" as their manual suggests. Currently you can configure ten MX entries for the same domain, but in real-world configurations we've never encountered a domain where ten MX entries were needed.
If you know of an example where a provider asks for a fixed value like "100" and does not deliver mail if that value is not present in an MX record, please let us know in your comments.

cache requests with cookies
"cache requests with cookies"-settings that if there is a cookie with no value (eg. set by a third party app like intercom), the settings will be ignored and cause a MISS cache.
4 votesCould you please in clear, straight-forward words formulate what this request is about? Is it "Ignore empty cookies when determining whether a page shall be cached or not" or something like that? From neither headline, nor initial description, nor detailed comment it is clear what is actually asked for.

Add IgnoreHosts options to Plesk`s DMARC implementation
Currently it is possible to whitelist only domain with IgnoreMailFrom parameter. However there could be false-positive DMARC failures (in case sender's strict policy and mail going throughout relay) due to which it could be useful to have option to whitelist specific network. It would be nice having this option available
10 votesDuring research, we have found that the request is about passing emails via intermediate mail gateway (which works as an anti-spam solution) and the idea of the request is do not check SPF for these emails on Plesk side.
In Plesk, there is already exist a solution for that: need to use "SPF Local rules" setting to configure an SPF record which will be used by Plesk to validate emails (including emails from an intermediate anti-spam solution). See KB article for mode details (https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022753174) and Plesk documentation.
If it does not solve the issue on you Plesk environment and you still need the "IgnoreHost" option, let us know more details about you case for that in comments below.

plesk installer upgrade plesk PLESK_18_0_33 allow latest rather then having to select a version
When you run plesk installer upgrade plesk PLESK180_33
it can be run unattended which is good to get a template update but you need i use a Version number it would be best to have an option for Latest egplesk installer upgrade plesk latest
then we would not have to keep updating our scripts every so often
2 votesWhat is the purpose of not updating to the latest Plesk version?

More advanced anti-ddos interface and settings
This (https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000784914-What-DDoS-protection-tools-are-available-in-Plesk) recently updated article shows that we still need paid extensions to better protect our servers against ddos attacks.
It would be great if Plesk would create a more advanced anti-ddos monitoring tool with a useful interface, alerts, and the right amount of settings to better protect our servers from ddos attacks without the need to install a third party extension with additional costs. Preferably created with "good defaults" in mind.
7 votesEffective DDoS solutions must be installed before the server, not on the server. Because once an attack is able to reach the server, it will block all network bandwith and create a high cpu load so that the server becomes unavailable for other tasks. No on-server DDoS protection can perform good enough to keep a server safe from that. Plesk already has on-server protection, such as Fail2Ban and the built-in firewall capabilities. Nevertheless, we'd love to hear what you are missing as an on-server protection.
The request asks for and "advanced anti-ddos monitoring tool with a useful interface, alerts, and the right amount of settings".
Could you please be specific about these points.
- What exactly makes an "advanced" tool for you?
- How do you imagine a "useful" interface?
- What "alerts" would you like to get?
- What are the "right amount of settings" for you?
Please let…

Possibility to hide the tab "Additional Services" from customer account
Create a feature to hide the tab "Additional Services" displayed under Plesk( login as a customer) > Accounts.
2 votesThis request has been reviewed. For verification purposes we have installed Let's Encrypt and SSLIt and then tried to find the "Additional services" tab you are referring to, but we are not sure what you mean. Could you please provide a screenshot of the complete "additional services" tab that you are referring to in your comments?

Support of the NGINX Plus and NGINX App Protect
Please add possibility to use Plesk with NGINX Plus and NGINX App Protect as it has more more functionality like Load Balancer, Reverse Proxy, API Gateway
4 votes"Nginx Plus" - a buzz word for a paid service primarily aimed at load balancing behind an Nginx driven front-end? This service seems to be mainly relevant for single-domain or -app configurations that distribute transactions over a server cluster, but deliver a site to the user as if it came from a single server.
We'd love to develop an understanding what this feature request is truly about and how Plesk could best support it. Where in an Nginx Plus scenario is Plesk installed and what would you like to do with it? It seems that in such a scenario Plesk would be a graphical user interface for the Nginx Plus paid service, but not a webspace control panel. So it would have to be a completely different product. Let us know how you think about it, please.
We'd also love to hear from you how many Nginx Plus installations you…
