  1. Add SMIMEA Record in DNS

Add the SMIMEA record in the DNS-system.
This is required for encrypted email communication.

There is no need to set up an automatic system, just the option to create an individual record.

The 63-character restriction must be removed, otherwise the hash of the address is too long and will be rejected.

  3. Cloudflare records exclusions

A very cool feature would be to exclude individual records in the zone from sync / export to Cloudflare and the choice by auto-update to only update / create records without removing whole Cloudflare zone.

In my particular scenario I am serving mts-sts. via Cloudflare worker. Everytime Plesk update DNS zone on Cloudflare the particular mta-sts. record is deleted. This record can not be created in Plesk, because it is a worker trigger.

  4. Update Nextcloud instances via CLI by bulk

Please include a feature to be able to update several or all Nextcloud instances to the latest version via CLI as a bulk operation instead of updating one by one manually.

  6. Add to Plesk possibility of installing certificates from ACME-compliant services other than Let's Encrypt

In Plesk, there is a Let's Encrypt which is an ACME-compliant vendor of certificates. It would be good to have another one or the possibility to implement other ACME-compliant certificates via Plesk tools. For example JPRS: https://jprs.jp/pubcert/about/ACME/index.html

  10. add time-expiring fail2ban whitelist entries

Please add the ability to add IP addresses to a temporary whitelist with an expiration option. Occasionally, customers may need to troubleshoot issues (e.g., verifying their mail account credentials) after being banned by Fail2Ban. To prevent them from being immediately banned again, we whitelist them temporarily. However, over time, if you forget to remove them, the whitelist grows indefinitely. It would be beneficial if these entries could automatically expire and remove themselves after a set period.

  11. Import existing accounts from SmarterMail remote to Plesk

We have a remote server for mail with SmarterMail. We have a problem, when the clients creates an account from SmarterMail, there is no automatic script or something from Plesk that synchronises all the accounts.

  12. Enable SSL session caching by default in Nginx configuration

SSL session caching is not enabled by default in Plesk's Nginx configuration, leading to the warning “Session resumption (caching): No (IDs assigned but not accepted)” during SSL testing (e.g., SSLLabs test). Without SSL session caching, SSL/TLS handshakes take longer and consume additional resources, impacting performance for returning users.

The following settings are missing in the Nginx SSL configuration file (/etc/nginx/conf.d/ssl.conf):

    sslsessioncache shared:SSL:32m;
    sslsessiontimeout 1m;

    Steps to Reproduce:

    • Run SSL configuration tests, such as with SSLLabs, and observe the “Session resumption” section.
    • Note the warning “Session resumption (caching): No (IDs assigned but not accepted)”, indicating the lack…

  13. Add global setting for automatic mail.domain.tld certificate assignment

I'd like to propose a straightforward solution that has proven effective in the industry.

Introduce a global setting in Plesk:

[ ] Use mail.domain.tld subdomains for all mail certificates
ⓘ This setting will automatically assign mail certificates through mail.domain.tld subdomains for all subscriptions.

    Benefits of this approach:

    • Provides a consistent, automated way to handle mail certificates.
    • Solves the automatic renewal issue without requiring manual intervention.
    • Simplifies subscription migration between Plesk servers. Customers won't need to adjust settings, reducing frustration for both clients and administrators.
    • Adapts to current market trends, where clients often host their websites externally (e.g., on Wix) while…

  14. View Full Content of Stuck Email in Queue

I would like to see the full content of the email that is stuck in the queue, rather than just the email headers and similar information. Currently, it is quite cumbersome to retrieve this information through the shell, and being able to view it directly would save considerable time and effort.

  15. Smarthost per domain configuration & enablement

At the moment, it is possible to configure Smarthost in Plesk on a server level and enable it for all domains at once.

However, there can be cases where I need to enable configured Smarthost for some specific domains only, with all the other emails flow via the default mail system.

Another example is that when I, as an admin, configured Smarthost on a server level and want to provide my customers & resellers with an ability to enable this Smarthost ad hoc.

  16. Backup manager: Include Docker Volumes

Some of my dockers are inside the sites' folders, inside httpd, but some have different permissions or user groups that sometimes do not allow the volume to be backed up, an example was postgresql, you can test, if there is even one advice on how you could add permission to the user or the system that makes the backup so that they can copy the files, for example.

Furthermore, it would be great to get a backup of the container volumes, I believe this would make pleks the only one and come out ahead of the other panels.

  17. Manage journald rotation settings via Plesk

Modern operating systems switch from log files to journals, so log current log rotation settings do not cover all needs. It would be useful to be able to set up journald vacuum settings from the panel.

  18. Add backup restore (sw-tar) multithreading

Plesk uses its internal sw-tar program for unpacking backups, which currently lacks multithreading support. This results in a significantly slower recovery process when handling a large number of files or large data volumes.

Given the continuously growing data volumes and increasing file sizes, it is time to implement this feature.

  19. Autoresponder "From" Email Addresses

It is commonplace nowadays to see something like this when we receive email.

"Accounts From My Organisation" accounts@myorganisation.com .

It looks far more professional and more aesthetically pleasing than the utilitarian "accounts@myorganisation.com" which is the only option currently available in the Plesk Obsidian autoresponder functionality.

It would be a nice feature - and fairly simple, I imagine - to add a field to the autoresponder functionality to allow us to enter a "pretty" name which would be what the email recipient would see in their inbox. Alternatively, of course, the existing field could be amended to allow for…

  20. FTP Bandwidth Control in Plesk

Introduce a feature within Plesk to allow administrators to limit and manage FTP bandwidth usage on a per-domain or server-wide basis. This feature would enable precise control over the data transfer rates for FTP services, improving resource allocation and network traffic management. By offering bandwidth throttling, server administrators can prevent excessive FTP usage from affecting other services, enhancing overall server performance and customer satisfaction.
