  1. Preset the option to block XML-RPC requests for new WordPress installations

    Hello!
It would be nice to have a feature where one can select XML-RPC to be blocked for all newly installed WordPress websites installed via the WordPress Toolkit in Plesk.
At the moment, only the option to preset disabled wp-cron.php is available, but no such option is present for blocking requests to XML-RPC.
The customers never use it, but also do not block it from their end and it is a hassle to do it manually for every new WP site.
Would it be possible to add such a feature to the WP Toolkit settings?

  3. Allow to preselect a different language for Awstats per domain

    Hi,

It is difficult to select a language in awstats. Can we build a nice menu for in every domain that is hosted on the server to select a language that we all want to have for that particulair domain.

    Kind of regards,
    Edward

  4. Direct Purcahse from Plesk

Please allow direct purchase from Plesk instead of from Resellers. Resellers are interested in making profit than giving class support.
Tech support from Plesk is wonderful as compare to Resellers Support.
We believe company who has developed product is more concern with reputation of the product & service. Person who just act as a middle man (Reseller) are not connected with reputation and goodwill of the services/product.

  5. A differential report to compare the DNS template to all or multiple domains on a server

A differential report to compare the DNS template to all or multiple domains on a server to see only items that are "differences" or exceptions to the template, not every DNS entry for a domain.

  6. Allow separate locations for customer/server backups

Add an option to store local backups created by customers in a different path than the ones created at the server level.

  8. Letsencrypt wildcard certificate, check dns and continue automatically

When creating a wildcard certificate for a domain where we are hosting the DNS, letsencrypt creates the required DNS record automatically, but then shows a dialog telling us to check the dns before continuing.

Since plesk created the DNS record and the DNS points to our server, the plugin should be able to verify that the DNS is good and continue automatically.

If we are not hosting the DNS and we have to manually create the record before continuing, the tools can easily display a 'check dns' button that will do the dns lookup and confirm if good or not.

  9. Letsencrypt separate certificate for each alias

We have a domain with many aliases, over time we expect the list of aliases to grow.

Let's encrypt creates one certificate for all aliases.

    This creates two issues:

    1. Some of the aliases are subdomains, when letsencrypt attempts to add www.subdomain.alias.com it fails (because there is a dns entry only for subdomain.alias.com and not for www.subdomain.alias.com). plesk shows the error and continues, but it's an extra error, and I have to check each time to make sure the errors are only the expected errors and not a new unexpected error).

    2. Over time as the list grows longer the process…

  10. Permission to manage hosting type

Add an additional permission that manages the ability to manage vhost type only (website, forwarding, no hosting). Currently this is bundled with "Domains management" permission, which if unchecked, will also not allow the creation of new domains.

  11. Plesk Backup & Restore IV - protocol functionality

    Plesk Backup & Restore IV

I personally think it's better to save all backup logs in a MariaDB / mySQL database table so that I can search for problems there later. So searchable logs with timestamps and users per domain / all domains, sometimes also by topic such as "email" / "database" / "files" / "configuration"

  12. Plesk Backup & Restore III - Wrong Option

The output during import in any combination whether "database only", "files only", "configuration only" is really insufficient, no information is passed on, e.g. the individual steps mentioned above, when importing a "domain" the domains all run as above, but for which task and how far the individual task is completely missing. Perhaps the old progress bar should be kept and another one should be shown where the individual steps are carried out, the more details the better.

At the end after the import, unfortunately you can only see the "date and time" and not what was imported at all. I'm…

  13. Plesk Backup & Restore Part II

    Plesk Backup & Restore

In my opinion, it makes no sense to import a backup where the software only "Only the configuration of the selected objects" means that if you click the wrong button, the database data can no longer be imported.

The databases have to be deleted manually in order to then select the correct setting "Configuration and contents of the selected objects". There is no setting to "Overwrite configuration and contents".

  14. Remove All Files / Packages From The Previous Plesk Obsidian Release(s) As Part Of Plesk's Upgrade Process

As per the title. When any Plesk Obsidian release is upgraded to the next release, many files and/or packages are simply left in place and not removed as part of the Plesk installation process. Without patient and time-consuming manual "clean-up" exercises, all of these now unused and non-functional files and/or packages, simply accumulate and (just like garden weeds do in the real world) take up useful and valuable server real estate, but for no purpose. It's a little surprising that this is still happening, when nearly all software packages provide this as a default action.

  15. Please Provide Better Notification Capabilities

Plesk needs a full featured notification solution, so users can customize what notifications they want to see, from whatever service is running on Plesk. For example the Plesk backups only allow for notification if the backup fails. Why not have a notification for either situation, success or failure. This is what I am referring to when I say the notifications need to be more robust.

  17. Customize Plesk notifications for each customer

Currently, Plesk notifications (like "Subscription expiration", "Resource usage limits exceeded by subscription", etc.) are the same for all Plesk users.

It would be great to have a possibility to customize notifications individually for each subscription or customer to personalize information about payments and offers.

  19. Backup and restorations should be noted in Plesk's Action log

As the title says, in order to better understand what have happened in Plesk, Backups and restorations should also leave a note in the Action log for Admin to understand what has been done in Plesk.

  20. Let wp-cron run every minute by default

Currently, when enabling 'Take over wp-cron.php' and 'Create a replacement task (...)', the cron job that's created only runs twice an hour. (See screenshot attached)

This seems wrong; any Wordpress cronjob that needs to run at a higher interval, will fire too late.
There is no performance benefit to running wp-cron less often, in fact, it might cause performance problems, because late jobs would pile up.

Can the default wp-cron.php interval be changed to every minute, please?

One source that offers some more explanation: https://wpengine.com/support/wp-cron-wordpress-scheduling/

Missed crons and crons that run too frequently can both be resolved by enabling the…
