Port Scan protection, PortSentry / PSAD
Plesk has fail2ban but seems to have no port scan protection, Something like PSAD or Portsentry would be good to be included to allow blocking and reporting on portscans making plesk more secure for everyone.

Hide/Show Database Servers for clients
Administrator should have the possibility to make Database Servers hidden from Clients.
My scenario is:
1 or more servers that are intended for Web only (Nginx+Apache+PHP/Ruby/Python)
2 or more servers for Databases (MySQL / could be PostgreSQL also)In the Database Servers, the administrators should be able to select visible servers for clients.

Clarify that underscores are automatically added by Plesk when creating SRV records
Just Place some text on the SRV "add record" page to clarify that users don't have to add underscores to the service- and protocol names.
If they do, there will be two underscores and Office 365 won't validate.

Enable email subject and keywords to be blocked in spamfilter
Allow users and admin to select subject lines and keywords as well as keywords in the email body to be added to the spamfilter blacklist.
Currently spammers are just changing domains and sending the same email templates.

Allow domain forwarding for every domain in a subscription, including the subscription domain
Currently it is not possible to make domain-forwarding for every Domain in an Abonnement. You have to select website-Hosting for the first domain to enable Forwarding for other Domains.
33 votesMany providers set a placeholder domain as the main subscription domain so that all domains actually "in use" in a subscription can be freely configured. Please consider this option as it will immediately solve the issue for you.

Support HPKP
I'd like to see HPKP integrated into the SSL certificate management of Plesk. This would allow, in combination with standard Nginx/Apache config, for a strongly recommended and worthwhile security element to be added to hosted sites.

Blacklist of recipient target addresses in the spamfilter (useful for wildcard mailboxes)
Hello,
I miss the functionality of managing a blacklist of target email addresses in case you have a catchall email domain.
In most cases, the originator address of spam emails changes every time, but the target address is frequently used.
So with this functionality, I could drop out invalid recipient addresses, without giving up the setup to use catchall all emails <everything>@your-domain.
This is useful to register webshops or community everytime using a separate target email address to distinguish incoming email if they are valid or not.10 votes -
Set start date on autoreply
It would be useful to be able to configure auto replies so that they start automatically on a specific date.
If I don't want to forget to set it before leaving.. or i'm sure there's many reasons!

Add debug symbols for nginx builds
We have a customer using plesk and nginx. The customer wants to use our APM tool also for monitoring nginx, but in order to get deep monitoring we need the debug symbols for nginx.
The customer is currently using package sw-nginx-1.9.4-rhel6.15091112.x86_64.rpm. The contained nginx binary does not contain debug symbols and we also could not find a corresponding “dbg” package in the repository. Are the debug symbols publicly available somewhere else? If not, can you please provide them?
It would be perfect if you can add the debug symbols for every nginx version in future to your repository as APM…

Setting alternate directory path location of the vhost per Domain or service packet
At the moment it is not possible to change or choose the vhost path for a domain. Every Domain is installed in the standard vhost path, at example /var/www/vhosts
If someone has a Server with attached fast and slow storage or big and small storage, it should be possible for the administrator to choose between them when installing a new Domain. It could be possible to give a customer service packages with faster storage for mission critical domains or giving him a lot of space for another domain located on disk drives mounted to another location.52 votesAt the moment you can change default vhosts location in Plesk using the command-line utility transvhosts.pl
Just check available options withplesk bin transvhosts.pl —help
Changing vhosts directory location for part of domains is impossible now.

Dovecot: mdbox and alternate storage support

It would be really handy if we could, via Plesk panel or some cli utility, o switch from Maildir to mdbox as mailbox storage format and enable alternate storage for old emails. This way we can optimize the disk usage by using the fast storage media for recent emails, while the old stuff can go on a slower, cheaper media. Will also help a lot in growing our mail customer base without forking out ridiculous amounts of money for expensive fast disks arrays to keep up with the growth rate.

Changing soa serial format by using the XML RPC API
It is possible to set the soa serial format either over the Plesk Panel or the command line, f.e.
/usr/local/psa/bin/dns --update-soa <domain_name|domain_alias_name> -soa-serial-format timestamp|yyyymmddnn
However, the XML RPC API should provide a possibility to change the soa serial format, too. Currenlty, the XML RPC API only allows to manipulate the values for the SOA's ttl, refresh, retry, expire and minimum.

SPAM protection - Check if sender Mail domain exists
For better SPAM Protection it would be nice to add an Option to let the Mailserver check, whether senders Domain is existing or even not.
I got Mails from "Domain.xyz" wich is of Course no valid TLD.
"Reply-To" is of Course an valid Mail adress.On request, my Data-Center told me they could activate that Option, but while Plesk is Controlling that config, on next Plesk update the Change gets lost.
So: Could you add in Plesk that Feature as an Option?

Backup single account
It would be great to have a single interface to manage backups of individual accounts (single-domain or single user).
I would like to manage a single server backup ftp and let me choose which accounts to backup.Obviously the backup file must be "single" for each account and not a single file for the entire server. If you want to make the restore of a single account, I have to use a single backup file.
