  1. DNS access for domain from SSL Certificate Registration

When registering a new SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt, is there no way you can give access to add the challenge TXT record on the DNS directly from the SSL form providing the Chalenge key. Having to have more than one form open one on domains and the other on the website config is crazy. it will just make life so much easier.

  2. An option to hide the DNSSEC menu for customers

Please implement an option in Plesk to hide the DNSSEC menu for customers.

Currently, it's only possible to hide the DNS management menu completely. It will be useful if there's an option to hide the DNSSEC button only, while the other DNS settings could still be managed by the customer.

Users an already create, edit, delete sites according to their specific role. Have you seen the role management in the "Users" menu of the subscription? Please describe in more detail what exactly you need to add to the feature that already exists and please provide a business case why this can make Plesk a better product.

  7. Support for Load-Balancers (Hosting Company Structure)

Add the possibility for Load Balancers to detect on what Server a domain is hosted.

This would make it possible to use Load Balancers without heavy API Integrations and headaches.

This feature request aims at a skill that a load balance shall have, not what a server connected to a load balancer shall have. Could you please provide more details what exactly you expect a server to provide so that a load balancer can find out that the server is authoritative for a domain? At first sight this would be the IP address that is registered for the domain in DNS. But what method would you want to suggest instead?

  9. External SMTP service per domain

We know we can leave plesk using an external SMTP service, but it's for the whole server. There are also several guides on how to let postfix use relay with external SMTP, for example AWS SES.

It would be great if we could use an external SMTP service per domain, using different credentials.

It seems that Heimdal Agent is a client component of their offer that collects data from a server or interacts with the server. Nothing speaks against installing that on a Plesk maintained server. "Support for Heimdal Agent" probably means that it can be installed as an extension or from a software catalog like APS catalog?

  13. Don't hardcode apache LogFormat in templates

This is simple. All log files are generated by a given format declared in */templates/default/server.php. That's bad if you want to add something to the log format like "%{X-Forwarded-For}i"

If you are seeking an integration with Google Backup, Amazon S3 backup, SFTP etc., the Plesk "Backup to Cloud Pro" extension is an excellent choice. This is readily available.

If you are seeking another kind of integration, please use the text field "description" or a comment to describe your idea in more detail so that we can understand it better.

  16. Improve Plesk Country Firewall Usability

    Plesk Country Firewall
    1) Add a check for duplicate country abbreviations on save.
    2) (x) add checkbox to sort alphabetically
    3) Add a drop down to select the country. Currently you have to look up the country 2 digit code. So add a drop down to select country then add the 2 digit abbreviation.

Most ISO codes of rogue nations are well known. We think that changes to geo IP blocking are rarely needed. To keep development costs reasonably low, perfect comfort for rarely used features is not a priority. In a server's lifetime it may occur twice that this is changed, so we wonder how often this feature is used in your daily routine that the added comfort is required? Please comment how you determine the countries to be blocked and why you change countries often so that we understand your routine better and can provide a better product while trying to keep license prices low.

Is this about a four-eyes or six-eyes feature? Like one admin first needs to "prepare" domains or subdomains for deletion, then another admin can delete them? Could you please mention some details on the business case and why such a function would help users to work more efficiently with their server?

  19. Set MX priority 100 or customize to any value

Possbility to add MX record with priority 100 but plesk allows only to select priorities from 0 to 50. For example to enable mail server to work properly at the OVH they require the configuration to priority 100

The actual value of an MX priority does not influence the behavior of other servers directly. It is more a "sorting" criteria. When OVH asks for "100" in a list of their five MX servers as 1, 5, 50, 100, 200, you can also rearrange that list to values like 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 with 15 representing the 100, because it is in the same order "slot" as their manual suggests. Currently you can configure ten MX entries for the same domain, but in real-world configurations we've never encountered a domain where ten MX entries were needed.

If you know of an example where a provider asks for a fixed value like "100" and does not deliver mail if that value is not present in an MX record, please let us know in your comments.

cronjobs can easily be managed by Linux commands already. They may not be sourced from Plesk, but all tools already exist on the operating system. As cronjobs are read by Plesk from disk, manipulating the corresponding files on disk will set everything you wish. Individual cron files are stored in /var/spool/cron and can be text-edited. You can add files, edit files, append files and delete files using Linux commands. You can also stream-edit files (e.g. insert a commend tag before a line with sed) and also create Linux control while-loops to apply changes to filtered files. Cron can also be controlled directly (https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/crontab.1.html).

Please let us know in details what you are missing or please provide an example how you would like Plesk to work with cron instead.
