Move domains between subscriptions
This is a feature that needs to be brought to the Plesk Control Panel.
This request has been outstanding since Plesk 10:
http://kb.parallels.com/en/113938This wasn't possible in Plesk 11.5.
http://kb.parallels.com/en/121606It still does not appear possible in Plesk 12.
At the very least, breaking a domain out into its own subscription would be a good first step.
Search words:
I cannot move domain to another subscription
move webspaces
move a domain within a multi-domain subscription
multi-domain subscription
migration manager
transfer a domain
separate subscription
split subscription
break out domain from subscription898 votesWe are planning to implement this functionality in upcoming Plesk releases, and we would really appreciate if you could take the following survey and help us understand what exactly you are expecting from this feature. Customer email notification when mailbox quota exceeded
It would be a very useful feature to have an email automatically injected to a customers mailbox when their quota is close to the limit and another when the mailbox quota has been exceeded with advice (customisable) on how to resolve the problem.
Sometimes clients are unaware/forget their quota and if accessing via outlook/smartphone etc they are not aware of the limit being reached. This can result in several days without emails or emails being rejected with a "mailbox full" autoresponder. Ironically this means anyone sending emails to the client are aware the mailbox is full but the client is…

Multiple backup rules or more options
At this moment, you can set only 1 rule to make backups (daily, weekly, or monthly). My idea is to make multiple backup rules (ex. which daily backups should be deleted) or simply make more backup options.
Ex:
I want to make daily backup and delete every older than 2 days, except one day of the week and one day of the month.ex interface:
Make [daily/weekly/monthly] backup and keep only:
[n] daily backups (enabled only for daily backups)
[n] weekly backups (enabled for daily and weekly backups)
[n] monthly backups (enabled for daily, weekly and monthly backups)So, if…

Add ClamAV as module in Plesk to protect better the server. Thank you Parallels Team.
Is easy to use.
585 votesPlesk currently offers two high-quality anti-viruses and other related services like WAF. Integrating another anti-virus solution is an expensive undertaking, so we’d like you to let us know which ClamAV features are missing in anti-viruses and services already available in Plesk. This will help us properly evaluate and prioritize this request.

While mod_pagespeed integration is yet coming,
Plesk has recently got PageSpeed Insights extension (https://ext.plesk.com/packages/3d2639e6-64a9-43fe-a990-c873b6b3ec66-pagespeed-insights). Feel free to install and let us know what you think -
ActiveSync support on Roundcube and Horde (Push)
ActiveSync is a necessary tool for most businesses today as it allows them to have everything in one place and stream it automatically to every device they use. Users with mobile phones and tablets can easily sync their contacts, calendars, notes and emails via activesync and users with outlook and other mail clients can sync contacts, mail and perhaps notes.
526 votesHi everyone,
We’re planning to support ActiveSync in the upcoming Premium Mail extension powered by Kolab. CardDAV and CalDAV will also be supported. We don’t have a specific ETA yet, but we expect it to be available later this year.

Support for HTTP Strict Transport Security / HSTS
I'm wondering if Plesk also will implent HTTP Strict Transport (or HSTS) Security in the GUI. It's an extra layer of security for sites who need to be extra secure.
It's being done with a special header (mod_headers for Apache) and a TLS connection. The client (browser) can then verify if the server is the real server and not a man-in-the-middle server/attack.
It's as simple as adding the following code to the vhost config (HTTPS only!):
Apache:
Header always set Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains"Nginx:
add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains";339 votes -
Email import tool
It would be a great idea to be able to import mail for individual email accounts via POP3 from other servers.
This would be great for customers migrating to you so that they can keep all their email.
Would just need fields such as:
-Hostname
-Username
-Password
-Port

Memcached support
Include memcache and settings for ram etc as standard.
288 votesSince Plesk Onyx you will be able to install memcache as a Docker container and configure http(s) proxy rule for it to map to your web app.
Docker and proxy rules are available in Plesk Onyx Preview already, you can try it here https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-onyx-preview-and-feedback.337172/

Support Asp.net Core in Linux in Plesk 17
Please, add support to asp.net core in plesk 17 for linux.
279 votesHi everyone,
This is most definitely a valid request and, in fact, we’ve been doing some research on this topic for quite some time. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features. Thanks in advance!

Change admin username
It should be possible for the admin user to change his user login name. The name "admin" is not very secure, because it's easiert to hack via brute force. The hackers know, the name is "admin". If the user would be able to change his login name, it would increase the security of Plesk Panel.

We have serious doubts this function can really increase server security:
1) Plesk has built-in protection against brute-force on login – it will lock the login form. So no one can try multiple attempts
2) Arbitrary login name adds very little guess-complexity to a proper password. If you have concerns for your login brute-forced – add another 5-7 characters into your password and feel safe.As changed login name is still very likely to be some sort of vocabulary word or derived from your other account name – this function would only give a false sense of better security. Your security strength is in complex password, not in a complex login name. If you have one good password, you don’t need to treat login as your “second password” – one good password is enough.
As for concerns that default password requirement is set in “weak”, that fail2ban module is not…

Spam configuration per subscription or domain
Now you have two opportunities to set the spamfilter - server-wide or individual. It would be very handy if the admin or the customer could set the spamfilter for the whole subscription or/and for the whole domain.

Add subdomains in one Let's Encrypt certificate
Add subdomains to one Let's Encrypt certificate.
Why?
Because Let's Encrypt has currently limit 5 certificates / 7 days on one domain.
Example: in one Let's Encrypt cerftificate will be this DNS names: example.com; www.example.com; sub1.example.com; sub2.example.com
I think it will be helpful if you can simply add your own domains and subdomains in Let's Encrypt Certificate.
Thanks!
