Backup manager: Include Docker containers
Currently docker containers are skipped by the backup manager, would be great to include them as well.

Exclude domains from backup in UI or provide option to select what should be included
Add an option to exclude domains / clients / resellers from a backup to the Plesk user interface.
Currently, it is possible only via command line:

Ability to customize nginx per site template e.g. Location /, Location ~, etc
Hello, I'm using Plesk Onyx and I've also bumped into problems with not being able to set correct NGINX Directives.
Regarding nginx and nginx configuration for various CMS, Web Apps etc, I see that a lot of directives need to be set and there are a lot of scattered issues around in the web.
For example most CMS will require a
location / { ... }
or for google's pagespeed test we need to add expire headers e.g.
location ~* .*.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif|ico|css|js)$ {
expires 14d;
}I think the Model to building the final vhost conf file should be revised instead…

Easy change the main website on a subscription
Currently the main domain must be renamed to change the main domain. This is cumbersome, especially if e-mail addresses are still assigned to this domain, because they will be also renamed. It would be more convenient if another already existing domain could be set as the main domain, e. g. by clicking on a button "Set as main domain".

Let's Encrypt: separate cert for webmail (without main domain in SAN)
We have a setup where webmail.example.com and example.com point to another server than our Plesk instance. Because of this we can't enable Let's Encrypt on Webmail since the CSR contains webmail.example.com and example.com.
So I hope you consider adding an option to only create webmail.example.com (without SAN example.com)128 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Limit amount of backups per customer
Hey guys,
I am sure that I speak for hundreds of users when I say that having a limit on backups per customers and or subscriptions should be an important and available option. The option to also limit backups based on the customers subscription storage size will be even better. Otherwise, customers who overuse the backup option will dramatically increase storage space on the server without realization of the administrator. It wouldn't be ideal for an administrator to enter the dumps folder to delete random customer backups. Really hope you guys can resolve this and add this feature as soon…

Maldet for linux inside Plesk
Hello,
is better if such as "wordpress toolkit" you implement this software in plesk https://www.rfxn.com/projects/linux-malware-detect/ + ClamAV (is more faster the maildect search).
With this way, anyone can scan our website from malware. And after scan, the user need to have an notify via email or directly into plesk. This inscrease the security of website and also increase the plesk security.
I use it somethimes for scan all website into our web hosting, and I found it very usefull for prevent serius problem of botnet, hacked website etc.
I hope that you can consider to implement this function.
Regards

add backup password protection to Backup Manager Backups (NO..it doesn't have it at the mo)
This may also be a security issue.
Currently there are no special protection of user content in the backup. Plesk protects only its sensitive data, web content archived without any encryption.If some gains ADMIN access to a wordpress/drupal/other web applications install parts of the Plesk container file system, cron jobs, etc will be compromised and would undoubtably increase exponentially the chances of the system to be exploited with virus, rootkits, malware “indirectly” affecting Plesk. (as an analogy no point to build a metal wall if the door is still glass)
So, in other words ... if a wordpress installation…

Temporary FTP accounts (with expire date)
It would be great to have ftp account with an expire date.
A sort of temporary ftp accounts.This becomes really usefull when you need to share your ftp details temporary with a webdeveloper, or somebody else to maintain of check an website.
I always make a new FTP account for this sort of events, but then forget to delete them. It would be real nice if you could set a expire date that the account automaticly blocks itself after that date is past.

Support for next.js applications
The problem we are facing is that Plesk's Node.js extension expects an entry point for the app (like app.js) but next.js doesn't work that way.
The expected workflow as explained here (Learn - Deploying a Next.js App | Next.js) is to run the app using npm via the command line using "npm start" after you have built the app and next.js handles the rest internally.110 votesThank you for your input! lock access to Plesk Admin on only one URL
There must be a possibily to lock up access to Plesk admin to only one or selected URL for security or other reason possible, For example i have 100 domains and i only want a few domain to access to Plesk Admin (https://domain.com:8443). This is not possible yet

provide more nginx options
Have the ability to provide more Nginx builds/packages. For example, offer a 'nginx-full'-package with more modules.
For example, I need the Nginx headers more module. Since this need to be built-in at compile time, it isn't possible to add this later on. So that would mean replace the Plesk version of Nginx with the distro-default. (Heck, why does Plesk need it's own Nginx-build, anyway?)
No, passing headers from Apache is not an option, especially when I'm using the Nginx - PHP-FPM setup.

Allow multiple SSH-accounts in a subscription
Currently only the main user-account (=system-user) can get access via SSH. Additional users and ftp-users only have access via FTP.
Please allow setting up additional users using SSH as well.

provide a way to see why a subscription is locked
Many times I find that some subscriptions won't sync because they are locked. I'd really like to know why they are locked. So far, I've been able to unlock & sync with no noticeable changes. But I'm left wondering what caused the lock in the first place. And I'm afraid that I'll realize later something no longer works as expected.

RDNS Setup For Domains
Please Do allow to create RDNS(reverse DNS) records to the users for their mailing severs.
Many other Service providers have easy setup for that like: http://www.rackspace.com/knowledge_center/article/rackspace-cloud-essentials-creating-a-reverse-dns-record

Additional information regarding this request:
Please be sure you are an owner of IP-address if you plan to vote this suggestion.
An owner of a block of IP-addresses has ability configure PTR records for IP-addresses in the block. If you rent a server or create a virtual machine in a cloud, you are not an owner of IP-address.
Usually, companies like ISP or Cloud Providers own blocks of IP-addresses. In this case, you need to use Hosting/Cloud Provider Control Panel and set up reverse zone for an IP-address (not in Plesk Panel).
