  2. Modify Password reset link for customers

Please add ability to customize the password reset link sent when client requests for a password reset. For example, to allow the username to be auto populated into the password reset form when the user clicks on the link to reset his / her password.

  3. Make Firewall rules editable

Firewall Rules are a good chance to block securly "evil" IPs or Users.

But by now it's very hard to manage a firewall rule. Why I can't edit them? Just activate/deactivate and delete?! Why not edit?
I think that would be very easy to fulfill with very little effort but with great userfunction improvment.

  5. upload files and folders to multiple domains and clear multiple domains at once

We have a lot of students with there own temporary site (provided by our school). They have to setup multiple wordpress sites.
When a course starts I want to provide the Wordpress installation files to their sites. When they have had their exam I want to clear all their sites at once.
I like to have a possibility to select multiple domains, specify an destination folder and ftp one or more selected files to the selected domains. In the same way I like to clear selected domains and DB's

  6. maintenance

    Hello
I create wordpress sites and all my hosting providers give me Plesk, who I appreciate a lot.
Unfortunately, you recently introduced Plesl Onyx on the Maintenance page that is activated during site refresh.
Some Plesk configurations on my host may not be perfect (we can not disable it) and this depends on the provider, but this Maintenance page has at least 2 serious defects:
    1) Does not display the home for the administrator while logged in to the site. Could not see changes to the home while I did.
    2) it only hides the homepage, but if a visitor…

  8. Update crucial security tools such as Fail2ban, Rootkit etc.

    Hi guys,

I am still trying to figure out why is it that we have a VERY OLD Fail2ban security module for Plesk? This version needs a lot of tweaking and has many bug fixes in the latest updates (currently: 0.10.1 release date 2017/10/12. So may releases, features, bug fixes and optimizations have been released, yet Plesk is still using a very old version. I dont understand how is it that you guys value security, but this simple update isn't implemented, yet you guys have increased the Plesk License cost overall. I dont get it at all. My other issue…

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, this request contains several different suggestions, and it’s not technically possible to properly handle them inside one request.

    1. Fail2Ban
Fail2Ban v0.9.x is a stable branch, that’s why we use it now.

Currently, Fail2ban v0.10.x is experimental (https://www.fail2ban.org), but you can vote for https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/17924536-fail2ban-now-supports-ipv6-please-upgrade and we will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular and not experimental.

    2. RkHunter v1.4.4
This functionality was added in Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update 15. We suggest you to upgrade to Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update 15 and check it out (https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#1753-mu15).

  10. Code Editor Buttons at the bottom, I'm always having to scroll down or zoom out to find them

Within the code editor, is it possible to move the save as, OK, apply, and cancel buttons to a sidebar or to the top so that they can be accessed at all times (as opposed to having to constantly scroll down to the bottom of the page to click apply each time I want to update the changes to view the results).

Someone else suggested an auto-apply, which I think is a good idea if I'm able to toggle it on or off, as I won't always want my changes automatically applied because the refreshes can cause the browser to…

  13. Prevent running of do-release-upgrade directly

Plesk adds its pretty text to the SSH greeting message. So, why don't hijacking into do-release-upgrade preventing to be run directly? As per KB https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213410369-How-to-perform-dist-upgrade-procedure-on-server-with-Plesk, to upgrade release you have to run a Plesk script; forgetting that and running do-release-upgrade may cause high troubles.

Prevent do-release-upgrade to be run directly or at least inject on it a clear warning message requesting confirmation.

  14. Improve formatting of Website Status List in CloudFlare ServerShield

Owner and CloudFlare Email columns are vertically aligned without a border. If an user own tons of domains it is difficult to read the table and understand where a row ends. Add borders to the table and vertical align cells to top

When Server Health Monitor send alert e-mail for disk space utilization status change, it includes output of 'top' command, instead it should be the output of 'df -h'

  17. Remove default certificate and set Let's Encrypt certificate as default when securing Plesk login page

When securing Plesk with Let's Encrypt, the default certificate should be removed and/or the generated Let's Encrypt certificate should be set as the default one.

Such Let's Encrypt certificate should be automatically applied to mail too, and in such case, if server hostname is changed later, that certificate should be automtically reissued, or at least a warning should be generated.

  18. Allow MSSQL database cloning with different users

Actually the cloned MSSQL database will be accessible to same users as the source database.

You cannot copy over an existing database with no users in common.

You cannot ever change access rights for such user, if the database contains an user-defined table (see: https://snag.gy/HJbdQU.jpg). Please note that the link "Search for related Knowledge Base articles" is broken.

  19. Add a search field to popup "KernelCare PatchInfo"

It would be useful to the paranoid sysadmin to check if a fix for a specifi CVE vulenrability was applied.

I know you can already use the search feature of the web browser.

  20. More support regarding free text mail forward in Onyx

E-Mail lists were removed in favor of free text e-mail lists and multiple address forwards between Plesk 9 and 14.
What is missing now, however, is some textual support for adding local mail addresses to a list, which should allow auto completion or list selection for those addresses hosted with the same installation, customer or domain.
