Add nginx-only hostings
I'll like to create a hosting that only use Nginx as webserver. Also I'll like to do this with Node.js, but I think it will not be approved.
221 votesCurrent scope for Plesk Onyx is to enable an ability to serve all http(s) requests by Nginx only.
Note: apache will still be installed. Switching of apache to optional component is subject for the next release.
Update:
The ability to turn off Apache and have content served by nginx only on a per-website basis is now available in the latest Plesk Onyx 17.0.14 preview. We encourage you to check the implementation and let us know what you think. Please visit the following forum thread to learn how to access the preview: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-onyx-preview-and-feedback.337172
How to try this feature:
Go to any website, click Apache & nginx Settings and deselect the “Proxy mode” checkbox under nginx settings. The feature is also available in Service Plans.
We would appreciate hearing your feedback on implementation of this functionality. Thanks in advance!

It would be nice to provide mail SSL/TLS support with SNI for more domains from single IP
It would be nice to provide mail SSL/TLS support with SNI for more domains from single IP
209 votesHi.
The first version of SNI support for Mail is available in Plesk Obsidian: https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/change-log/#18-rc10
You need MailEnable 10.20+ (for Windows) or Postfix 3.4+ and Dovecot (for Linux) to test it.
There are cases when it doesn’t work (e.g., if you connect to mail.domain.com it will not work, please use domain.com in connection settings of your mail client) that’s why we don’t mark it as “available”. We plan to fix these issues soon.

Support incremental backup for mail content
Nowadays, many users are using IMAP, maybe because is the default setting in many popular email clients (Mozilla Thunderbird, and I remember Mail on Windows 8.1 didn't support POP3 at all).
Mail content usually grow but previously stored messages doesn't change often. In Maildir format, used by Plesk, qmail and Postfix, when an user got new mails, new files with unique name are added on disk, and only some files are changed (basically, only courier-imap and dovecot caches and indexes, perhaps easy to rebuild from scratch).
So, please, support incremental backup for mail content too

bring back "modify multiple mailbox settings"
as per:
http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?290993-missing-feature-change-multiple-email-settingsIn 9.5.4 it was possible to select multiple mailboxes and change their settings simultaneusly.
This is now suposed to be done through subscription plans, but there are certain settings not contemplated. For example, in a 300+ mailboxes domain I want to change each mailbox antispam setting to "move spam to spam folder" and this is not possible though the panel and I need to make a script to do it through shell.
I would like this feature to come back, like it was in 9.5.4

We consider to include DNSSEC into webhost and webpro license types. For all other types of licenses it will remain as a feature to be purchased separately.

Add support for MicroSoft Web Deploy 4.0
Web Deployv.4.0 was installed on the server before Plesk.
Now WebDeploy is displayed as installed in Plesk installer.
However, it is not detected by Plesk in Tools & Settings > Server Components(Refresh does not help either). Please add support for WebDeploy 4.0
2 votesThank you for your input! We are going to implement this feature in upcoming Plesk 17.9 version. We have already submitted an internal feature request and developers are working on it.
