        How that a fraud attempt? Dude posted multiple messages on the same IP?
        BTW, the request is pretty explicit.

        for a more specific reference, we have a company that uses a standard domain (domain.com) but then uses subdomains for each of its branches (branch.domain.com) for branch specific sites (location specific differences) and wants to have emails direct on each branch subdomain for separation

        This does appear to be a duplicate of another case. If these could be merged and all comments viewed as a whole it will give a clear picture. Eg, some people need email addresses for wordpress sites running on subdomains.

        There are various potential use cases for this, eg name@division.company.com or name@region.company.com.This can also be very useful for offering clients free trial accounts, where they don't necessarily have their own active domain as yet.
        The possibilities are endless if we have the options here, like are available with other email servers.
