Backup and restoration
Hi, To restore a single file from FTP repository, it required whole full to download and then restore required data. Which consumes lot of time. Please try to work this backup/restore operation like other backup application where we can select required data and it get easily download without time consuming.
Also the backup tab should give option like dayswise full, incremental backup. Start and stop backup schedule, etc...
Thank you for your input! We are planning to implement this functionality in upcoming releases. The request is registered as: PPM-2517
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.
At least let me store stuff on FTP without archiving it, every time I have a problem, I need to download 700GB file, well no I don't, I keep separate backups using rsync and mysqlautobackup and still pay hefty monthly licence fee for this useless essential backup tool, while I am taking or backups myself.
Simple solution would be to allow same form of backup as local to FTP.
+1 for separate archives for every subscription
we really need this, restoring backup that have been downloaded manually. or restoring only few domains.

Yes. Please store each domain in a separate archive file when doing a full server backup. Currently I have 50 sites taking up about 30GB of storage. If I store the full server backups on Dropbox or S3 and I want to restore just one site with 100MB of files, or even just one file or one directory, the current process will download the full 30GB backup file from the remote storage to the local server before it can extract the part I'm looking for. This takes a lot of time and a lot of bandwidth. Not really practical.
+1 I say Yes !
It will be good if all the backup will be separate zip files per domain, in this case you can download or restore just one domain
