PHP GD webp support

The version of GD provided with Plesk PHP packages does not have support for webp enabled by default. Almost all browsers now support this format.

    I was hoping that by switching from ispconfig (free) to plesk (paid) there would be better support. I hope I won't have to change my mind.

    I know these are totally separate issues, but
    .webp files can now be used with the plesk bin branding_theme utility to apply custom themes to Plesk Obsidian. (PPPM-11426)
    seems like priorities gone *very* wrong. Sorry, i don't really understand this delay any more.
