Support MySQL 8
I would like to see support for the upcoming MySQL 8.
Currently there is no support inside plesk and using a possible workaround with docker isn't possible out of the box.
MySQL Community Server 8.0.4 is already a Release Candidate.
Plesk now supports MySQL 8 as the local (Plesk for Linux) and the remote database server – https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/change-log/#plesk-18033
I use mysql8 via Docker using Plesk and that works fine for me
*** Plesk. Better off moving to CPanel or no panel.
Best advice is to stop relying on Plesk and their outdated, no support software.
We do need it as technology move up.

April 2018, GA was released. Time to get to it Plesk.
Main issues I've seen involve Default values, and the sha password default.
phpmyadmin doesn't officially support it, but it worked fine for me after the legacy password my.ini change.
Not a critical feature, but would be amazing to have it. The speed really is significant.
Coming up on two years wow!

I need mysql 8 to connect to DigitalOcean managed database. Please add it ASAP!
Any news for MySQL 8 in Plesk?
It's not like it takes great effort to support mysql 8.
I find this silly.
Why wouldn't you want to blast your competition away (cpanel) by implementing this before they do?

I think this suggestion has been forgotten.
For when :( ?
