Disable File Manager
Add an opportunity to disable/hide File Manager in the Customer Panel
Please write exact scenarios of why do you want to hide this functionality in Plesk.
Do you want to disable File Manager on a server or you would like to disable File Manager for particular customers only? And why?
Your descriptions will help us to properly estimate if this idea is worth to be implemented or not.

As a fully managed Wordpress hosting provider I want to disable the files and databases tabs for customers so customers cannot accidentally mess with files or databases.
Yet I want them to enable to create or delete a mailbox or see their usages.
A imo good example is how the Wordpress Toolkit extension handles this. For the Wordpress Toolkit there is the possibility to give acces on a detailed level but also the option to disable this option: "Access to WordPress Toolkit". Which completely disables the tab in the menu. This is just perfect.

I agree with Michael Buboltz, Tristan and Natan Mercedes
My typical scenario would be:
a) offer DNS only hosting plan
b) offer e-mail hosting plan
c) offer CMS, like WordPress in closed mode, no ftp or file manager allowed, forcing all WordPress file task via inself features
d) other cases that I would like block access
File Manager must included like other resource hosting plan like email accounts.
File Manager must included like other hosting resource like email accounts or databases.
In addition Plesk admin, must allow enable or disable once hosting service is running

Hello, what interests me is that I can give limited access to the client, who does not have access to the files. Let's imagine that I offer an Ecommerce platform in Wordpress for a monthly payment, the client if he has access to the files will be able to duplicate the website and I don't want that.
Thanks!

1. Low tech customers for which we provide premade applications shouldn't be able to mess with their files.
2. Trial accounts: letting people drop files on the server is a bad idea.Option should be available in Plan settings, and at Customer level.

I would like to be able to create a plan where certain customers can just pay for DNS management and not have access to web hosting. I currently have it setup this way but they can still upload files.

Why is this not given on Service Plan Level? i.e. Hide File Manager?
If you want to give Email Hosting, theres no need for Filemanager ... -

Good question, in my case i have done a complete website for my client but i didn't get paid full, now issue is he is asking control panel details to add/delete/change emails so i don't want to say client no but i don't want him/her to access source files, and i believe it's a good reason to have this feature, what do you think?

Please add "Disable File Manager" for specific Subscription / Customers / Service Plans this is the most important / useful feature required.
