Plesk API - support for Wordpress cloning
I suggest creating an option to use Plesk API for cloning a Wordpress installation. This is well easy now in GUI environment but does not support third-party dashboard integration.
It would be great to implement this into Plesk API so clients would be able to create staging environment on one click without a need to login to the Plesk interface.
WPT 4.6 introduces the ability to clone WordPress sites via CLI (command: plesk ext wp-toolkit —clone). If you have any feedback on how this feature works, please let us know on our forum (https://talk.plesk.com)

Thank you! :)
Nice! Good work guys. This will be very helpful.
Just enable new command for the already existing command-line tool #plesk bin extension --call wp-toolkit ..., so we can call, please. No need to overdeliver.

This feature could be really helpful! the feature is exist. just release it to the XML API or REST API :)
This week my bosses decided at the company's board meeting, that we are going to implement one-click staging environment, also we need to be able to install a preinstalled Wordpress image automatically after client places an order. This is already something Plesk's clone and synch functionality does, but API function is missing, so the customer has to wait until admin does so, it makes us look unprofessional, behind the competition and we have to pay someone to do so.
Cumulatively we run about 100 Plesk installations, this functionality is crucial. Because we are not able to do so and our attempts to do it with WP CLI failed to be compatible with the WP Toolkit, we ask you to fast forward this up the development stream, because our only option is to stop using Plesk at all and move to a custom solution, why go through all the trouble when we work so good together for years now. I think that you are able to program one more API functionality for something you already have, you will be more attractive for online agencies.
