It's wild that there's no option to ether add default subscription backup settings via a service plan or use CLI to set those up. Doing so via the UI is stupidly tedious and time consuming.

Tried to do that by inserting the settings directly in to the database but the issue is the FTP password is AES-128-CBC encrypted before being stored. Not something that can be done outside of the UI.

Please add a cli option so it could be automated with hooks and scripts

it's 2024 and not yet implemented. it's such an important feature for an api of a webhosting panel.

Seriously, guys, ALL Plesk features should be configurable via API/CLI. How are shops supposed to automate the deployment of Plesk-based systems without it?!

If there is a way to set "Exclude Log files" checked as default on Plesk backup for our clients, that will be great. Right now it is not possible to do it through Plesk UI, or CLi.

The reason is that if someone restores a backup of their site that includes the logs, it blows away the existing logs, and we lose log entries since the last backup of the plesk host to investigate (many times) cyber security threats/attacks/issue.

It would be great in order to automatically configure scheduled backups through Event Manager when a new subscription is created. It's a pain when it's needed to restore a single site backup from a whole server backup and doing it manually each time can result in human errors or even forget to do it (until you need it).
