Support for Roundcube 1.4 (includes responsive support)
I've installed 1.4 manually and it works without problems.
RoundCube 1.4.3 is available since version Plesk 18.0.26 https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/obsidian/change-log/#plesk-18026

I think we can just forget about 1.4 until 1.5 is released. -

@Mitchell van Bijleveld still not a solution, Plesk needs to release this with their software we pay for. Tweaking is the same as using third party plugins, not a solution but a work around
-
Mitchell van Bijleveld commented
Well, I would suggest to install Roundcube 1.4 manually as I did as well. Then you can also add some plugins without breaking those if Plesk updates the version of Roundcube.

@Dennis Rahmen it's a shame we need to install a third party plugin in order to use this. Should have been released by now already

@Bragi Austfjörð
You can just user Plesk Premium Email in the Free Version...It´s basically Roundcube 1.4 and because it´s the free version it is, well, FREE...

Ein Update von Roundcube auf die Version 1.4. ist seit ca. einem Jahr geplant. Eine schnelle Umsetzung ist erforderlich.

It appears that there is no valid reason for any delay in supporting updates provided by Roundcube (like this one > v1.4 etc) other than avoidance.
Plesk manage PHP very well indeed for example. The frustration and dare say awkward factor is that Roundcube updates ARE available within Plesk but only as part of a purchased package (Kolab)
This surely proves that the Roundcube technology changes have already been tested by Plesk and that additional profit is... probably....the real driving force or limiting factor.
Plesk, pleass suport your long term, paying licence holders and deliver these updates - FOC - ASAP

Could the plesk staff comment on this issue as it's almost a year old already?
Thinking about moving all my licenses to DirectAdmin only like plesk for it's interface but if these issues don't get solved i will move all licenses to DirectAdmin.

We had to cancel 12 Plesk licenses the last couple of weeks, because these customers really wanted the new Elastic responsive theme for Roundcube.
Though we lost them as "Plesk" customers, luckily (for us) they all moved over to DirectAdmin. DirectAdmin is already supporting this Roundcube Elastic theme since early November 2019!
I tested it and it works great. Much better, especially on mobile devices. But I don't think Plesk cares about this. The only "solution" to get this theme with Plesk is to be forced to buy their Kolab nonsense.
So you not only pay for the Plesk license, but also for Roundube (which is free) because of Kolab. Oh well. Not our loss luckily. More and more customers are making the switch DirectAdmin. Plesk is becoming to expensive and nothing useful is added. Autodiscover doesn't correctly work (which does in DA for a very, very long time), the responsive Roundcube theme and so on...
In the past 2,5 years we saw around 40% of our customers making the switch from Plesk to DirectAdmin. About ~7% stopped completely.
I think the decline will go on at this rate.
Just my 2 cents... Not that Plesk cares at all...
Also support is getting worse. For example tickets getting read badly. Same with responses. Also their pricing change about 2 - 3 years ago make us lose a lot of customers (most of them made the switch to DA as well).I don't think Plesk has a very bright feature at this rate. Things were different before they were bought by the investment company. Same goes for cPanel and SolusVM. All the same situation.

As many here we would also like to know more about when the Roundcube update will be available, we recently migrated our clients from Plesk for Windows with Mailenable to Plesk for Linux and users are very disappointed with the current version of Roundcube, no Plesk fault but it will be good for us to be able to provide our clients with a date for the update before we loose them.
