Plesk With OpenLiteSpeed Feature
Free version of Enterprise Litespeed, it would be nice to use lsphp+Openlitespeed+LSCache (free) within Plesk.

Compared to super-slow apache and CPU hungry nginx, this is best thing for a web server.

Please enable LiteSpeed with one click, just like changing from apache to nginx. thanks!

Common guys this should be first priority... you should buy/support/contribute to this. OLS is the next big thing. have you seen the benchmarks?

Hüseyin Arslandoğan commented
Yess please. OLS first priority for Plesk
-
Godwin Chibuike commented
Yes please. This should have been incorporated long ago. OLS is way better and plesk should be ahead not behind!

plus 1. OLS is faster than Nginx proxy and Apache... We need new technology, not this old...

Please vote for that feature so devs can see !

Actualmente soy usuario de plesk y me interesaría mucho que agregaran este complemento, sin duda los sitios en wordpress funcionarían mucho más rápido y podría igualar a paneles como cpanel, directadmin y cyberpanel agregando openlitespeed.

Openlitespeed free version should be made available as Apache replacement or alternative with Plesk Panel at earliest.

I'm value to leaving plesk because missing openlitespeed!

Okay thank you.
I do agree that it is about time that plesk makes it easy for us to use OLS... -

@Jonas Ibsen, there is a miss understanding. You can use Cyperpanel in multiple combinations:
- CP (openSource: https://cyberpanel.net/docs/installing-cyberpanel/) + OpenLiteSpeed = Unlimited workers, domains and ram
- If you use CyperPanel Enterprise + Litespeed Enterprise = Limitations as here: https://cyberpanel.net/cyberpanel-enterprise/And you can use both variations above with the cloud CyperPanel for central management of the Server andWordPress Installations
Differences between OLS and LE: https://www.litespeedtech.com/products/litespeed-web-server/editions
There is a small learning curve for the switch to CP and plesk is sure more mature and offers more easy options and a better UI.

EJ, but is still just 1 worker thread at 40$/mth, so really that big difference?

As Cyberpanel started to offer a Wordpress Solution (Beta and later paid extension) similar to Wordpress Toolkit in Plesk I dont see much reason to stay anymore with Plesk. I made the switch. Cyberpanel is free and open source, just the CyberPanel Cloud Manager is paid. But in the end way cheaper than Plesk + Litespeed Enterprise.

But check well before you switch. There is a big difference between openlitespeed and Litespeed Enterprise. Openlitespeed doesnt cache htaccess files, it also only reads RewriteRules and nothing else. So if you use anything else in the htaccess like addtype for headers or security measures (CORS etc), it will not work. At least OLS now seemingly detects htaccess changes and restarts in such cases.
I am still not sure if i should switch. I miss S3 like backups with CyberPanel (only AWS S3 available in paid version not something cheap like Wasabi), also i miss something similar like Wordpress Toolkit. And the few limitations of Openlitespeed might have an impact for some people. On the other side, the price of Litespeed with unlimited domains and RAM is expensive as ****. -

I have installed my server with that. Really nice. I will transfer all my Hostings to that server. CyberPanel ist really nice and so fast.

There is a open source version of CyberPanel (Its from Litespeed Technologies, so they try to hide it as much as possible to sell), it misses a few features like remote S3 backups. https://cyberpanel.net/docs/installing-cyberpanel/

No Problem ;) I try DirectAdmin and CyberPanel. CyberPanel is good, but expensive. The best solution is DirectAdmin. But i find this is difficult to setup and to controll. I have to learn someting in the next time

Thx for pointing out that other control panels support it, seems like its possible with DirectAdmin und CyberPanel. I will check both out if they fulfill my needs and if they do, i switch, Plesk is a lame duck, till they implement OpenLitespeed PHP 10 comes out. I rather switch the control panel than being stuck with hundreds of dollars per year for the normal Litespeed license (which is more important for me than Plesk itself, cause: performance)

Other Control Panel are supporting this!
