Allow using a centralized SmarterMail Server
SmarterMail licenses are expensive and you need one per server. It would be nice if we could use a centralized SmarterMail Server.

This is now working. what needs to be added is the feature to migrate mail account from one plesk server with local icewarp oder smartermail installed to a new plesk 17 server with remote smartermail. should come next few weeks.

@Antony, thanks for you note about relative ease of doing that through just providing UI.
We do a range operations on file level for the purpose of performance and they won't be possible when remote. We can potentially make it possible at the cost of limited mail support when remote. i.e. no backup/restore or migration supported. Is that what you may prefer?

There is no reason for this to not be included. Plesk communicates with smartermail via the API anyway, so why not add a hostname field to the UI? THis is just laziness on the part if Plesk.

Yes that is true that it's supported at ppa but most people can not use ppa because each customer MUST have a company and can not be private.

What happen if the smartermail server is on different operating system on the same system? There should be a way like you can add MySQL server that is not on the same system.
