If you are not interested in preview and only interested in production release day, you would need to watch Parallels announcements at (http://www.parallels.com/about/subscribe/). The ones who decided to attend Parallels Summit 2014 (http://www.parallels.com/summit/2014/) will probably know the dates sooner than others and also will have a chance for more insight and talk to us directly with your questions and suggestions.

I don't think this is a good idea. Not because mod_security isn't good -- it is great, and I would not use a public server without it installed, along with a comprehensive set of rules. But this is a massively complex tool which is too easy to get messed up. If you have the skills to create or use good rules, you have the skills to install mod_sec so it doesn't need to be a Plesk component. The bottom line is that I think it is far too complex to be something that might be managed via Plesk itself.
