Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS to access Plesk login page
example.com doesn't exist on the server.
If set example.com under Plesk > Tools & Settings > Customize Plesk URL, there is no redirect from http://example.com to https://example.com.
Please add feature - redirect from HTTP to HTTPS to access Plesk login page.
Thank you for your input. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it is popular. Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

I was very astonished to learn that this feature does not exist yet in Plesk, but instead a manual workaround with a .htaccess file has to be implemented by the admistrator instead. Not very comfortable! Such a feature is cleary required IMHO! Please implement this in the page /admin/ssl-certificate/list as a new checkbox below the option "Automatically protect Plesk" called e.g. "Redirect panel login to HTTPS" or similar.

It would seem a good idea to me, I presume the HTTPS: would be more secure than the Http. So anything which improve security has got to be a good thing???

Please see the workaround described in https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015823179

The fact that someone needs to enable this option, (except of disabling the port 8443) is for fast entering on his server, without typing that port from a different computer (bookmarks help on his own). So doesnt make sence to save :8443 in the end but to keep adding https:// in front

In my opinion this is a very important thing!
Without a proper SSL certificate on the custom URL, the whole feature with a custom URL makes no sense to me, because I can't give such a URL to a customer, when the customer will be getting a security warning when accessing Plesk...

Plesk Obsidian introduced ability to create custom URL for Plesk accessibility, however it is not possible to install SSL certificate on it: accessing domain on custom URL resulting on certificate name mismatch warning as domain name used in certificate to secure panel is different from the one you are using to access Plesk. It would be nice to add ability to avoid such limitation

Allow COMMON practice for SECURE login ..
{using the CLIENTS Lets Encrypt or OTHER SSL Certificate}
NOT the servers SSL Cert.
WITHOUT having to make an EXCEPTION in the browser.
DO AWAY WITH being FORCED to use:
https://dom.swissns.ch:8443
Make this COMMON login operational:
https://sutersspeedshop.com:8443This should be an urgent implementation.
FOR EVERYBODY !!! NOT ONLY FOR SSL RESELLERS
