Backup Manager: Backup per Domain / Subdomain (within subscription)
We finally declined this request. If you want to back up some website separately, the best way is to create a separate webspace for it.
Thanks for your ideas and comments!

How can you guarantee that you are not rigging the results of this vote, since it would be in your interest to not separate the backups, as much as you have to maintain limited domain name licenses
why not go into the details of this refusal? -

I was asking 5 years ago the question:
"Is it possible to backup a Plesk subdomains separately from the main domain backup ?"Since that time the price of the Plesk licenses has exploded, being multiplied by 4
So I said to myself that if there was such an increase in the price then there must have been implementations in Plesk that will really be of service to users who have chosen to reserve and trust?
So my question today is:Is it now possible to backup Plesk subdomains separately from the main domain backup ?
Wait and see !

Important, please implement

Plesk manages over 380,000 servers at a minimum of $12 per month (certainly not all of them use the cheapest server license), which equates to a monthly profit of 4,560,000 (salary costs are probably marginal in comparison).
*It's been almost a decade since this very important, security-critical feature was requested* (we need to ensure that no backup operators and administrators can access Plesk data from other domains/subdomains).
Why is it not worth a dollar to Plesk to finally program this feature??

Any update on this?

One of the most critical features missing right now for the backup option in Plesk.
Making a Subscription for every single domain is just not what i want to do to keep backups available for a single domain at a time. Desperetely needed. -

Es algo bastante necesario!

I was appalled to see I cannot take a snapshot of a subdomain in Plesk. Please fix this!: (

This proposal/wish was first made in 2014 (!) and ther is nothing from plesk developers, if and when such function will be implemented.
With how many votes Plesk is considering this "popular"? -

Yes, it is a must have
It would be great to backup only one subdomain -

Amen… This is absolutely necessary.
- I have clients subscriptions with multiple domains
- My own account has multiple subdomains (and some of which are test sites for my clients)Having more fine tuning and options in the backup manager would be a boon!

I have a total of 50 GB on content (mostly images), divided in 5 sub-domains. It is impossible to have a backup of all tihis in one step. I really need the possibility to do backup per (sub) domain.

This feature is so important. Confixx could it, why not Plesk? If someone has a lot of subdomains, there is no need to make a huge backup of all subdomains when you only need a backup of 1 subdomain. And if you want to move a single subdomain, it's bad too
Why this feature is still not integrated?? -

I missed this dreadfully, from previous versions. I also want to download a backup of one of the domains, not all the domains. I've just had to download a 43Gb file, that I then have to extract, to get particular files out of one single domain. It's just ludicrous in this modern technological age! It's going to take all night as well to get local to my PC.

This function is greatly needed. I have multiple domains under same subscription and if I need to restore a backup I only want to restore the domain that's affected, not all domains in a subscription.

yes this would be handy

This is very important for users who do not have Admin access.
1. If I want to move my Plesk set-up to another host, I need an easy way to backup all (a) settings (b) files (c) databases, without the need for SSH access, etc
2. This keeps the backup filesize small, and easier to manage. My current subscription is 20GB!!! It takes over 24 hours to backup to MS Onedrive.
3. One click domain backup enables us to keep using Plesk

Why this option still missing.
Plesk Staff please launch this option, As it is most required feature.
This idea posted on 2014 and still it is missing in 2020.
And we are struggling to restore single domain not other subdomain/domain in same account/subscription.
