Stop the generate password button from replacing more complex user generated passwords with simpler password.
Often my complex passwords are rejected so I use the 'generate password' button. This often replaces with a much less complex password.

Sorry, it is totally up to you whether you press the button or not. The button’s name is not “generate more complex password than mine” – it merely generates a random string which qualifies for required password strength, nothing more. If you don’t like it, simply don’t touch it.
