It took a while, but good news to everyone.
Since yesterday Joomla Toolkit is available. You can install it via Plesk Extension Catalog or check it out at https://ext.plesk.com/packages/470269a6-5876-44f2-9af7-7f33e712b83e-joomla-toolkit

@Björn: We've already added the support for PHP >= 5.3 into the coming release. Additionally, we removed the dependency of shell_exec, exec and Git. We make the Joomla! Toolkit as compatible as possible with different server settings. We definitely will release this update in December!
Please keep in mind that we are still in the preview period. We greatly appreciate the feedback from the community to make the Joomla! Toolkit better and better!

There are monthly releases happening for WordPress Toolkit and Joomla! Toolkit to continuously improve the products and add more features. Other toolkits like Drupal, Magento or Prestashop Toolkits are not yet planned, but this depends on their demand. If enough users ask for it, we might consider delivering them too.

Jan L I think the price is ok, there would be a choice between Joomla or Wordpress when you buy a new license. Is there any development on a Prestashop toolkit?

@Gianluca: The new Joomla! Toolkit is a huge invest for Plesk. We ramped up a Joomla! team to deliver the same quality and power as in WordPress Toolkit over time. This requires a financial contribution from our users to support this continuous development. The price for Joomla! Toolkit is much lower than any competitor.

We've got the code for joomla to do that, even with custom update server url / own repo.
Is the Plesk team interessted to integrate our code as Joomla Toolkit?Again, this post got several other double posts. @Plesk team: you should tidy up uservoice to collect feedback from your users more efficiently.
