Option to delete a domain or subdomain, but keeping the website content
am not understand, when i want to move a Domain, the system will delete all the content. The choice to leave the content, I think is essential. This has to be a must!!!

commentedThis is crucial because the way it is right now one could easily delete all content at the end of a long night session in a very tired mode — by just two wrong clicks.

commentedI should be able to remove a subdomain, keeping all its files and folders. eg: + dev.mydomain.com Root directory: /mydomain.com
+ www.mydomain.com Root directory: /mydomain.comCurrently if I remove the subdomain, I'm told that all its relevant files will be removed, BUT, it is in use by the main domain. I need the assurance, and a checkbox to KEEP the root directory and all associated files.

commentedIts is dumb that it is like that, we have multiple domains pointing at the same files, so we cant remove domains without trashing the entire system? Lawl!

 It's a must have!
Also we need the possibility, to change the domain, e.g. to change from testing to productive.

commentedFYI - you can work around this by creating and empty directory then pointing the domain to that, then deleting it. But yes, an option in the GUI instead would be nice.

commentedI am not even sure if this really is a feature request or more of the cry for a naturally more intuitive workflow? Is there a reason the data gets deleted by default in the first place? Configs (including the docroot-path information itself) yes, but the data as such? It seems a bit... overzealous?

commentedI think the best is to have an domain alias function without redirection. If I add an domain alias, use same web space path as target domain, but not redirect - stay on domain. On deletion, only delete domain. I need that functionality. And it solves that problem here....

commentedI totally agree. If you have multiple (sub-)domains that point to the same docroot, it is very risky to delete one of these domains. Plesk does not check if the docroot of the domain to be deleted is used by another (sub-)domain. Also, there should be an option to not delete at all!
