  1. Add mailqueue messages count to Advanced Monitoring / Grafana

    Add the count of messages in the postfix mailq to Advanced Monitoring and Grafana. Then we have the option to get alerts if mailq goes up, in case of spam events!

  2. Make SSL/TLS encryption on port 587 optional, not mandatory

    Some mails could not be received due to the fact the Postfix 2.8 and higher in Plesk uses only TLS encryption, when senders use other encryption methods. Manually updating main.cf directly on the server (as discribed in https://plesk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213386889) is not always an option since the main Postfix configuration file may be overwritten by any Plesk update. In order to avoid potential issues with non-delivered mails it is required to make SSL/TLS encryption on port 587 optional, not mandatory.

  4. Add to Server-Wide Black List and White List block by IP adress and DOMAIN name.

    Server-Wide Black List blocking only by domain name is insufficient, because spammers can spoof real sender adress. Not every sender has SPF record configured. And also email White List needs whitelist by domain name to block common spammers with no fixed IP.

  5. Custom outgoing SMTP port

    An option to customize outgoing SMTP port.
    Both for SMTP relay and direct SMTP.
    Currently there's only a temporary workaround for Google Cloud VMs with Plesk.

  7. implement functionality of filtering forwarded emails when "Apply individual settings to spam filtering" option is enabled

    Details: SA should filter forwarded spam emails just after they delivered to the end-point mailbox and block the sender of spam messages.

  8. auto Responder e-mail E-Mail with functions

    It would be really nice, if you can ad a autoresponder funktion with additional features like

    -startdate
    -Timefunktion (start at 8.00 or finish 17.00 h)
    -repeat function (example: every monday and tuesday)
    -activation per app
    -html in content area

  9. Implement push notifications to iOS devices from mail server

    Implement push notifications to iOS devices from mail server.

    Here are details of what I mean: using a patched version of Dovecot and a small Perl script, it's possible to get native Apple push notifications for new mail using the stock iOS mail client. This is accomplished by mimicking Apple's XAPPLEPUSHSERVICE IMAP extension for Dovecot used in macOS Server, whose source code is published on the Apple Open Source website.   12. Implement DNS Whitelists

    Plesk does not currently support DNS Whitelists like it does RBLs, such as the list at dnswl.org. There needs to be a way to add this from the Plesk UI.
    The Postfix main.cf config directive is permitdnswlclient.
    Whenever a Plesk upgrade happens, the setting, if added is removed and needs to be added back manually.

  13. SPAM protection - Check if sender Mail domain exists

    For better SPAM Protection it would be nice to add an Option to let the Mailserver check, whether senders Domain is existing or even not.

    I got Mails from "Domain.xyz" wich is of Course no valid TLD.
    "Reply-To" is of Course an valid Mail adress.

    On request, my Data-Center told me they could activate that Option, but while Plesk is Controlling that config, on next Plesk update the Change gets lost.

    So: Could you add in Plesk that Feature as an Option?

  14. Custom Email Server Help Tips

    The settings for mail servers have a help tip in the email addresses management page, and in the users' Plesk Account pages.

    If a Plesk server is set up strictly as a mail server, and has DNS handled remotely, the settings in the Help Tips can be incorrect.

    Currently the tips only show the server as the root domain even if the mail server's actual DNS points (as an example) mail.domain.tld to the server, requiring the settings to include the subdomain.

    If I add the domain as "subdomain.domain.tld" in settings, then the server tips are correct but the email addresses…

  15. Set the root directory to INBOX in mail autodiscover for Outlook

    By default, the Mail Audodiscover function does not set the Root folder path to "INBOX" in Outlook, which results in an odd directory structure:

    Inbox
    Drafts
    Sent
    Trash
    Spam
    Outbox

    Please provide a way to configure this without having to manually edit the mail server configuration files.

  16. Handling or gzip compressed email

    Hello,

    At the moment mail server shipped with Plesk is not able to store or handle emails compressed by Gzip on the file system.

    Please add functionality to support compresses emails or option to enable email compression.

  17. Enable mail accounts password encryption(or have possibility to enable it via Plesk) for MailEnable

    Currently all mailbox passwords(MailEnable) are stored in AUTH.TAB in plain text that is not secure.
    MailEnable has an option to enable password encryption in AUTH.TAB

    Mail autodiscover in Plesk Obsidian does not support the latest Outlook version 2019 and O365.
    Developing support to Microsoft proxy servers for autodiscover requests is required.
