  2. S3 Storage with enabled Object Lock

    AWS S3 Storage offers the Object Lock feature, which ensures that a file cannot be deleted within a certain time frame. This is ideal for protecting your Plesk backups from accidental manipulation or attackers.

    However, to use this feature, the PUT request must include the checksum of the uploaded backup file. If this header is omitted, the following error message appears:

    Transport error: Extension transport: ext://s3-backup/server/: Content-MD5 OR x-amz-checksum- HTTP header is required for Put Part requests with Object Lock parameters

    Adding one of the headers described at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/checking-object-integrity.html would solve this problem.

  3. Ability to set a Subscription or Domain Backup Default

    I'd love the ability to set a subscription such that a Scheduled Backup configuration is enabled by default? E.g. "backup all files, daily, store 1 day"?

    Often times I realized after the fact that a domain backup was not turned on. The "scheduled backup list" extension is nice, but I'm looking more for a default option.

  4. Include Plesk backup download in Action Log

    Currently, when downloading a Plesk backup via Plesk, this action is not tracked by Plesk Action log.
    Suggestion: make Action Log track backup downloads

    Clients can make and program backup tasks; while server backup manager and server-wide backups are disabled

  6. Sending a WOL magic packet before backup via FTP

    Hello !
    My Plesk scheduled backups are send by FTP to a computer that might be in sleeping mode. I would appreciate the possibility of sending a WOL magic packet before the transfer.

  7. An option to limit a number of full backups via CLI

    It'd be great to have an option to limit the number of full backups in directory via cli, for example:
    plesk bin pleskbackup ... -max_backups=2

  8. Limit number of local backups when option 'Both server storage and FTP(S) storage' is used

    Add more customization to the Backup Manager > Schedule > Both server storage and FTP(S) storage, e.g.:
    Create a limited number of backups on server storage (option to indicate the number of the backup specifically for local storage), in order to save disk space

  9. Implement a disk space check for "plesk sbin pmm-ras" utility

    Exporting a backup via "pmm-ras" utility may bring down the server because it ran out of disk space during the procedure:

    plesk sbin pmm-ras --export-dump-as-file --dump-specification=backupinfo<timestamp>.xml --dump-file-specification=/root/backup.tar

    Please improve the "pmm-ras" utility to check for free disk space before starting the operation to avoid these scenarios

  10. Clear failed backup/restore notifications at once in UI

    There are so many notifications in backup manager regarding failed backups and clearing them 'close this message' is so slow. It would be nice to have a way to clear them all at once

  11. Add incremental backups for Plesk extensions

    Currently, Plesk backup manager creates incremental parts only for the web and mail content. And Plesk extensions backup always contain full data even if there were no changes. It is required to add incremental backups for Plesk extensions

  12. Add multiple S3 Backup destination/locations

    It would be interesting to be able to have multiple S3-compatible storages configured at a time, so that multiple backup destinations can be used.

  13. Allow configuring additional storage for Acronis Backup extension users

    Acronis allows setting up additional storages for backups https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisCyberCloud/#managing-locations-and-storage.html

    Currently, the way Plesk defines integration with Acronis, Acronis extensions users can't do this.

  14. Keep Static Back up, that can be deleted ONLY manual

    Keep Static Back up, that can be deleted ONLY manual. Prevent rotation to delete a specific back up that i decice, so i have a base back up as reference for as long as i need. That will make me feel safe that if the 7 days of rotation that i have to my back up, passed, i still be able to retrive a back up!

  16. Backup/Restore a table or DB to file

    Backup / Restore manager is fine, but what if we only want to restore one / several tables, not the whole Database?
    Add feature to restore single tables only.

    Or even more flexible: add the possibility to restore a DB dump to a file. This file can then be searched / adjusted to restore specific tables only. Once it is adjusted we could load it in the DB / perform the restore.

  17. Change the extension order of Plesk multi-volume backups

    At the moment the extension order of Plesk multi-volume backups is the following:
    <DateFormateHHMMss.zip>
    <DateFormateHHMMss.zip1>
    <DateFormateHHMMss.zip2>

    This means that volumes .zip1, .zip2 can not be extracted after their downloading because they have an incorrect zip extension format.

    The idea to change the extension order of Plesk multi-volume backups to:
    <DateFormateHHMMss>.Zip
    <DateFormateHHMMss>1.Zip
    <DateFormateHHMMss>2.Zip

    That the multi-volume backups have the correct zip format and can be extracted.

  20. Plesk Backup & Restore IV - protocol functionality

    Plesk Backup & Restore IV

    I personally think it's better to save all backup logs in a MariaDB / mySQL database table so that I can search for problems there later. So searchable logs with timestamps and users per domain / all domains, sometimes also by topic such as "email" / "database" / "files" / "configuration"
