  3. Allow to manage SMTPUTF8 over Plesk Mailserver Settings

Would be good to be able to manage SMTPUFT8 option over Plesk so that it is not reverted after Plesk Updates and also to remove the need to manage this option over the Postfix config directly.

  4. Python / VirtualEnvironments via Plesk

Since plesk supports individual Ruby, Node and PHP settings per subscription there should also be extended support for Python.

It would be a good approach to enable / disable python per subscription by allowing / disabling access to python and to setup a virtualenv per subscription so that every subscription can have different packages with different versions installed.

  5. Add hMailserver as mailserver again

    Advantages of hMailserver are:
    - IMAP
    - SSL (not available in free version of MailEnable)
    - DKIM is easy to enable
    - VBS scripts/API for management

Please submit other specific advantages in comments

  6. WHMCS Email Templates

OK ... here are the facts.

Plesk is getting better with great features.

WHMCS is probably the billing system that most use since it is affordable and easy to work with.

Ergo ... Plesk need to provide email templates on WHMCS that we can use.

Not sure why you have until, unable to work with WHMCS team to create a comprehensive email templates like cPanel's.

You understand the flow; Team WHMCS understands its billing system.

These are simple things you can do to remove this idea that Plesk is difficult to use which we hear from developers and businesses here.

  7. Additional account for reseller with same permissions

We as web agency have the following use-case:

    • We run the Plesk server

    • A customer of us acts like a reseller for us and we configure him as reseller in Plesk

    • This reseller creates his customers with their subscriptions. The reseller manage different customers with different subscriptions.

    • Our customer acting as reseller has a team managing his customers.

    • Each team member of the managing team of our customer (acting as reseller) should have his own user. These users should have access to all subscriptions of all the customers of the reseller.
(a copy of the initial reseller user)

    So, it…

  9. Allow creating separate E-Mail Adresses for Domain Aliases

I would like to be able to create own e-mail addresses for Domain Aliases. Let's say i have example.com as domain and add example.net as alias, now i would like to create e-mail adresses for example.net (alias domain) only which are NOT available on example.com and vice versa.

  10. bring back "modify multiple mailbox settings"

    as per:
    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?290993-missing-feature-change-multiple-email-settings

In 9.5.4 it was possible to select multiple mailboxes and change their settings simultaneusly.
This is now suposed to be done through subscription plans, but there are certain settings not contemplated.

For example, in a 300+ mailboxes domain I want to change each mailbox antispam setting to "move spam to spam folder" and this is not possible though the panel and I need to make a script to do it through shell.

I would like this feature to come back, like it was in 9.5.4

  11. Allow configuration of MSMTP (SMTP relay)

Currently, there is no way to permanently change the MSMTP config in /etc/msmtprc and the Plesk options in "Mail > External SMTP Server" are not enough for Gmail and Zoho to even work.

    Gmail problem:
    While sending you get
errormsg='the server sent an empty reply'
Fix: add "tls_starttls off" to /etc/msmtprc
    Zoho problem:
    https://talk.plesk.com/threads/its-not-possible-to-send-notification-emails-from-plesk-using-and-external-smtp-msmtp.344922/#post-836533

Please provide for us a way to change the config template or include additional configs, like we have for e.g. proftpd in /etc/proftpd.d/

  13. Display custom settings and changes when service plan is changed and synced

When Service plan is changed and synced to subscription, custom settings for very subscrition should be marked and if you want to preserve you check them or cancel them if you do not.

This way is more transparente, what can you loose or miss when you are changing Service plans and syncing.

  14. disable automatic greylisting activation for new domains

If i add a new domain in a subscription, greylisting is automaticly activated, just because it's enabled on the server.

It would be much better if customers have to activate greylisting manually in their settings, like the spamfilter.

A workaround with Event Manager is possible but a bit inconvenient.

  15. Set individual PHP Options, Field as an Admin or Reseller for their respective downlines

The default behavior of Plesk is that the Resellers will not be able to set individual PHP Options from the Plesk panel.

We ask you to add the possibillity to give a Reseller the right to set additional php settings like the admin user can do this.

  16. Let Plesk use certificates configured on a domain

Currently users are able to configure SSL certificates on their domain, and when using SNI this works like a charm. However, these certifcates are not used for the Plesk interface.

It would be great that when a user adds a certificate for https://www.example.com/ it would also add these certificates (using SNI) to the Plesk server, so that https://www.example.com:8443/ would result in having a valid certificate.

Currently website certificates are not propagated to the Plesk interface.

For setups with a large amount of plesk servers it would be very nice to be able to be able use a SAML integration to handle the user authentication.

  18. Add new site or modify existing site without Apache restart /graceful restart

For example, Odin uses a system where all the website information is stored inside a NoSQL database, and apache just reads this data with a special module:

This feature has not gotten many votes during the past five years. Technically, a graceful restart of Apache is unnoticeable for the user as not service interruption occurs. Further, Apaches model loads all configuration data into memory upon start or reload. The Odin link provided in the comments does not lead to a more details explanation of the feature request. And finally, in the Nginx/Apache combination with an increasing number of users considering Nginx-only hosting a change in the Apache worker process won't be sufficient.

Please provide a sound explanation why a graceful restart of web servers is insufficient for adding or modifying web server configuration.

  19. Hide/Show Database Servers for clients

Administrator should have the possibility to make Database Servers hidden from Clients.

    My scenario is:

1 or more servers that are intended for Web only (Nginx+Apache+PHP/Ruby/Python)
2 or more servers for Databases (MySQL / could be PostgreSQL also)

In the Database Servers, the administrators should be able to select visible servers for clients.

Why? Ideal is to hide the localhost server when only external are to be used. Some DB servers may get to full and you want the clients to select only from lower used ones. You have demands from different clients to support older versions of MySQL for…

  20. Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS to access Plesk login page

example.com doesn't exist on the server.

If set example.com under Plesk > Tools & Settings > Customize Plesk URL, there is no redirect from http://example.com to https://example.com.

Please add feature - redirect from HTTP to HTTPS to access Plesk login page.
