  4. Do not count local forwarded messages by Outgoing Mail Limit

    Hello.

Currently Outgoing Mail Limit counts local forwarded messages from existing mail boxes:
    https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/mail/protection-from-outbound-spam.71349/

Please add functionality to exclude messages forwared to the local mailboxes from counting by Outgoing Mail Limit.

  5. Limit outgoing mail messages

    http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=265576

Please add new feature to limit the number of outgoing emails Yes this is a very bad that we cannot limit outgoing emails!

One of our hosting customers was a spammer. Because of their spamming our IP was blacklisted.

We removed the blacklist and suspended the spammer, but during that time our other customers were very upset, their emails weren't being received...and new customers of ours couldn't receive download letters sent from us, it was a terrible problem! Then they would complain but support tickets weren't received, either!

    Parallels, please add a feature…

  6. cli for outgoing mail limit to get statistics

It is necessary to have cli utility to get outgoing mail limit statistics for previous days, to see mailboxes that tried to exceed their limitation and when.
I want to monitor that with an Script and Cronjob and maybe make some auto actions on that.

CLI for outgoing mail statistics is already available. The instruction set can be seen with

    # /usr/sbin/plesk sbin mailmng-outgoing --help

    Example:

    # /usr/sbin/plesk sbin mailmng-outgoing --fetch-statistics --with-limits --time-step='hour'

No information was provided what is needed in addition to the options that the mailmng-outgoing command already provides. We must decline this request.

  7. Ability to set outgoing mail limit to specific domain (rate limit)

The use case. Messages deffered to Yahoo when many messages sent:
421 4.7.0 [TSS04] Messages from IP temporarily deferred due to user complaints

Is it possible to add limit outgoing messages to specific service, for example:

Sent no more than 100 mail to Yahoo per hour

  11. Keep custom outgoing mail limit in input box when turning on "unlimited"

Situation: When "unlimited" outgoing mail is turned on, a custom value previously present in outgoing mail limits is removed from the input box. When turning "unlimited" off, a user needs to re-type the previous content into the input box(es).

Why it should be easier: An outoing mail limit needs to e lifted for planned mass mailings. After the mailing was sent, the previous limit needs to be set again. However, this happens not immediately after the mailing. On servers with many users, the previous custom values need to be saved/noted manually so…

  12. Monthly outgoing mail limits

Currently, it is possible to create hourly limits for outgoing mail.
It will be useful to be able to configure it for other timeframes, such as Monthly outgoing mail limits.

There is an option in Plesk 12 and 12.5 to limit outgoing mail for subscription sent by scripts:

    http://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/administrator-guide/appendix-a-properties-of-hosting-plans-and-subscriptions/mail.65721/

    Settings for outgoing mail control
    ….
Allow scripts and users to use Sendmail. Scripts and users will be able to send email messages by using Sendmail even if the limits for a mailbox and domain are exceeded. The maximum number of messages can be sent will be defined by the limit for a corresponding entire subscription. Messages are sent on behalf of the subscription’s system user.

  16. Count each recipient (Including to, cc and bcc headers) as individual limit for Outgoing limits

Now, if you sent an email to 100 recipients, it counts only as 1 sent in Plesk Outgoing Limit. It should count as 100 sends.

The feature available is available starting from Plesk Obsidian 18.0.41 version.

    You can enable it in

“Tools&Settings” > “Mail Server Settings” > turn on limitations on outgoing email messages > “Count a number of recipients instead of messages”

  17. Outgoing Mail Control collect sample of offending emails

When Outgoing Mail Control detects a user abusing the sending limits, it would be helpful for the emails that are sent beyond the limit to be sampled in some way: To: From: Subject: Headers, possibly the first line of the email, origination ip address of the offending email.

This information can help the admin decide if it was the user just sending to many emails or if the email has been compromised and needs to be addressed.

As a similar but different idea, emails beyond the limit could…

  18. Ability to sync Outgoing mail control limits

Currently, it is possible to sync Outgoing mail control limits only if "Ability to change mail settings" permission" is disabled on service plans.

But if this permission disabled customers cannot disable or enable the email service for their domains. This is needed by customers, because they have sometimes external mailserver like Office365

  19. UI for configure outgoing Mail Server by Domain

Add Plesk Panel UI for configure outgoing Mail Server.

""In Plesk for Linux with the Postfix mail server, you can change the IP address used for sending mail. Also, if your server sends mail from domain IP addresses, you can specify which name will be used as a host name in SMTP greetings.""

So a UI where the Admin of Plesk Server can, change the settings for outgoing Mails.
Send from domain IP addresses and use domain names in SMTP settings.

  20. Possibility to send "Outgoing mail has exceeded limits" notifications to customer accounts

Currently, "Outgoing mail has exceeded limits" notifications could be sent only to administrator email address.
Could you please add a possibility to send notifications not only to administrator but also to customer mail account.
When the customer also receives the notification, the customer who is actually using the service could investigate the cause of the restriction.
