  1. Show DNS zone settings to the customer without giving the ability to change it.

    Currently, disabling DNS settings permission hides DNS menu. It would be better instead for the customer to be able to check their current settings without being able to change them.

  2. Change default notification settings for built-in scheduled task on Windows

    The following built-in scheduled tasks on Plesk for Windows are set byd default to Notify = Every time. Every clean install of Plesk will send daily two annoying e-mail messages to the administrator. It will be more useful to change that default to Notify = Errors only.

    Daily web statistics analyzers run task:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\webstatisticsexecutor.exe

    Daily script task:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin\php.exe -q "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\plib\DailyMaintainance\script.php"

  3. Improve tools Plesk migration between versions of Windows

    Improve tools Plesk migration between versions of Windows, is currently a problem practically do this and we can not do rather than manually. On the other hand every time there is a vesion aNew plesk scares me do the upgrade for sure there will be problems with the software. I have to document in forums to see what my risk in the future.

    It's very good control panel but very troublesome to migrate or upgrade.

    Plesk 11.5 includes a lot of improvements for migration and specifically for migration on Windows.

    If you think they don’t solve your day-to-day problems, feel free to file another report with some examples of problems that bother you. Will be happy to help and we need your feedback to improve migration tool!

  5. Plesk migrator shall notify secondary DNS about the new primary DNS

    After a migration from Plesk to Plesk, configured DNS slaves with the extension ***** DNS Manager are not notified about the new master of the zone for migrated domains.
    It could be done while clicking on 'Switch DNS' in advanced mode with the commands rndc delzone example.com and rndc addzone example.com {etc...}.

  6. Change how SSL's are added to domains

    What is the point in being able to add SSL Certificates under Tools and Settings and then there is no crossover under the domain name to add the SSL to a domain hosted on the server?

    I.E I've added an SSL for a customer to the server under Tools and Settings only to go to the "secure sites" option under their hosting to find that the SSL doesn't appear there, and that I have to request it again!!

  8. Add custom theme in Skins and Color Schemes

    Hello.

    Please add functionality when custom themes configured using CLI appear in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Skins and Color Schemes.

    Currently it is possible to configure and install custom themes unly using CLI and custome themes don't appear in Skins and Color Schemes.

  9. SpamAssassin check should always happen before forwarding

    According to https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000786914-How-to-enable-SpamAssassin-spam-check-for-forwarded-emails-on-Windows when the option "Apply individual settings to spam filtering" is enabled, filtering of forwarded emails is not performed and additional steps are required.

    Please, make it so that no additional steps would be required.

    Can you tell what made you need MySQL restart function in Plesk? i.e. if you just reconfigured its setting s in configuration file, isn’t it easier to restart from shell terminal?

    UPD: Sorry, we are closing the request as no information were provided for over a month.

  12. Merge Hosting Settings + Apache & nginx settings into a singe item

    It's basically about the same thing and it makes sense to display this information on a single UI item.

  13. Add option for minimum 12 characters in passwords

    Add option for minimum 8 characters in Plesk > Home > Tools & Settings > Security Policy > Password.

    You can label it as "Stronger".
    Going from 8 to 16 characters leaves a big step.
    We train our customers to user minimum 12 characters in their passwords (including lower/upper case, numbers and symbols).

  14. Set a senders email address for Plesk notifications

    I am sending mails from an external server, my Plesk Servers do not even have mail setup. Plesk offers the option to send notification mails (like backup errors,...) using an external SMTP server, but all mails get sent using the mail address
    root@servername.domain.tld

    My SMTP server does not have this mail address or even domain setup. I would like to set a custom email address for Plesk to send mails from in order to not have to set up a domain and mail address for every Plesk server.

  17. Transfer DNSSEC configuration for a domain during migration

    It would be great if transferring of generated keys and DB records of DNSSEC configuration for a domain during Migration will be implemented. Thus there would be no need to recreated them for each migrated domain.

  18. Allow Wordpress Toolkit feature - administrative settings

    We enforce keeping Wordpress up-to-date and would like to see the option to disable the "no updates" updating option in the Wordpress Toolkit. This would allow us to offer our customers the Security fixes only (minimum) option or all updates (maximum) update option.

  20. Alternative functionality for configuring FTP backup storage instead of <backup-manager> operator.

    There is a need for new functionality that allows us to configure FTP backup storage settings. Plesk UI is not an applicable way. As XMP-API <backup-manager> operator is deprecated in Plesk 17.8, alternative cli functionality is required to manage FTP backup storage settings. It was possible to perform via XML-API <set-remote-storage-settings> node of <backup-manager> operator.
