Display and Limit Incoming / Outgoing Traffic for all accounts.
In the company I work we have a huge problem, as Email Traffic seems to increase by about 5GB daily without any obvious reason. We are just a few people, and we don't use that much the emails. The problem is that we often overpass the maximum provided bandwidth and then we have problems with emails.
From the controls it seems that there are not many outgoing mails per hour (about 220 max outgoing per day from all of us depending the day). Thus we can't identify the source of the problem.
It would…

Email Archiving for all incomming/outgoing emails
All incoming/outgoing mail for a certain domain is copied automatically to a different inbox within that domain.

But anyway, thank you for your input! We will consider this suggestion in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Knowing the mailbox name that exceeds the "outgoing email spam"
It will be better if plesk Outgoing Mail Control shows email instead of domain name.
9 votesWhen spam is sent through a mailbox, that mailbox is shown on the "outgoing mail" configuration page with its limit and the number of mails that exceeded the limit. When spam is not sent through a specific mailbox (without SMTP login for example through a script, the webserver) than there is no specific mailbox that can be identified.

Way to suspend outgoing mail service per-account
Like on cPanel where you have the option to suspend Outgoing mail service (SMTP) per account. Also as an idea of mine, set the email account to only allow send email inside the domain like user@domain.com he only can send to whoever@domain.com

Different spam settings for incoming and outgoing mail in Plesk Email Security.
Currently, spam settings are configured under Plesk Email Security > Server Settings, and they are applied both for incoming and outgoing mails.
It would be nice to have separate spam settings for incoming and outgoing mails.4 votesThis is a valid request, so we'll look into it. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features.
Thanks in advance!

Custom outgoing SMTP port
An option to customize outgoing SMTP port.
Both for SMTP relay and direct SMTP.
Currently there's only a temporary workaround for Google Cloud VMs with Plesk.
This configuration might be overwritten by an update:

All Outgoing messages be encrypted by Plesk (built-in PGP encryption)
Currently Plesk Mail certificate only secure POP/SMTP and IMAP connections, would like a feature to encrypt outgoing messages itself.

Plesk sbin mailmng-outgoing utility applies changes in UI
Currently, the changes made with plesk sbin mailmng-outgoing utility don't change the information inside of the Plesk UI.
It'll be useful to add such a feature, so the changes that were made with mailmng-outgoing utility will be shown inside of the Plesk UI, e.g. if the command plesk sbin mailmng-outgoing --set-mailname-limits --domain-name=example.com --mailname=test --out-limit=250 was executed, then inside of the Plesk>Tools&Settings>Outgoing Mail Control>Domains> example.com the 250 value was displayed.1 voteIt's more of a bug than a feature request. Please create a detailed bug report here: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/reports.746/
I will forward it to the developers for further research and fixes.
Thanks,

Resellers should get outgoing mail control information for their customers
Resellers should be able to see and get alerts for their customers outgoing mail control same as the system Administrator as they are responsible for the domains.
One of our resellers has a customer who tried to do a mailshot. If our reseller was aware of this they could have spoken to their customer and fixed any issue before we needed to get involved. It would prevent ourselfs extra work and also questions our resellers may have.

All the Mails, generated by scripts, should use the webservers ip, and all other mails should use the mail ip
I'm running a plesk 12 system with 2 IP addresses.
One for the webserver and one for the mailserver
I use the Outgoing Mail Control option to limit the amount of outgoing mails to prevent blacklisting...I want to do the following:
All the Mails, generated by scripts, should use the webservers ip, and all other mails should use the mail ipThe idea behind is: When a customers website is hacked and a mail sending script is placed there, i want to have a additional security to outgoing mail control, so if really an ip…

Limit forwarding destination mail addresses
It would be nice feature to add ability to limit number of forwarding destination mail addresses, because now it is possible to add as much forwarding mail addresses as you want.

Filter outgoing files in mails according to file type.
It would be great to filter outgoing mail depending of the file type, same as we filter incoming emails, like other major providers like Microsoft and Google do.

Be able to control "Outgoing mail traffic" as a reseller without having to disable "Ability to change mail settings"
The current Plesk business logic, is that the "Ability to change mail settings" permissio, when enable on the service plan, the Outgoing mail control values will be taken from the subscription/domain/mail account settings and will be managed by the customer - namely, that the service plan will not interfere.
On the other hand, if that permission is disabled (see the image below) at Service Plan > example_plan > Permissions > expand "Sow more permissions" > "Ability to change mail settings", the desired values will be taken from the service planTherefore, it should be possible to control "Outgoing…

Outgoing email limits: Please provide a way to separte in-server sendings from out server sendings (and therefore more critical)
As mentioned in http://forum.odin.com/threads/outgoing-email-limits-is-there-away-to-take-out-emails-sent-within-the-distribution.333512/#post-783419, we see that mails sent from one mailbox to another even in the same domain are taken into account for the email limit feature.
Such situations rarery arise from a stolen password or compromised clients which typically send spam to the outside world. And on the hand disturb some automatic internal tools programmed by the clients that do send mass mailings for internal processing.
Therefore we would like to have a way to out specify scope of the outgoing email limits…

Outgoing mail whitelisting
I need to restrict some email addresses to send emails to specific domains. For example, x@test.com should only be able to send emails to y@mydomain.com and z@yourdomain.com but x@test.com shouldn't be able to send emails to any domain other than these two. In other words, an email from x@test.com shouldn't go to ab@test2.com

outgoing spam prevention / anti hack
Recently i found 50000 spam emails in the mail queue. It seems one of the websites got hacked (i am guessing through joomla plugin) and a encoded php script was installing that was sending spam like crazy. Even after enabling email limitation , it didn't actually say where these emails were coming from as the current implementation only lists email accounts and totally ignores scripts when listings (only when counting domains).
So.
- needs to scan for encoded php scripts
- needs to scan for folder privileges of cms systems
- in this link : https://[domain].com:8443/admin/…
2 votesThank you for your feedback!
Unfortunately, this request contains three different suggestions, and it’s not technically possible to properly handle them inside one request.
Please consider creating separate feature requests for each of the items below:
1. “needs to scan for encoded php scripts”
Please clarify the scenario you are asking about.
2. “needs to scan for folder privileges of cms systems”
We could consider the possibility of implementing this feature in future Plesk releases.
3. “in this link : https://[domain].com:8443/admin/outgoing-mail/list/type/subscription needs to list in addition tot the subscriptions, script locations (php origin script) which sends email.”
Please see this idea:
https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/12827919-show-currently-recently-mail-sending-scriptsPlease create a new request with each item, so that others can vote for it.
Thank you.

Knowing the emails that exceed the "outgoing email spam" plesk 12.x
Hi,
with plesk 12, at last, has been implemented function "limit outgoing email," however, it would be possible to save one or more copies of emails that exceed the limits set in a specific administrative function of plesk?
In doing so, it is very easy for a amministartore, to know if the emails that exceed the limits are spam emails or newsletters, or otherwise. This option would enhance the work of our administrators, thus avoiding going to analyze the SMTP queue.
This message stored, will be deleted automatically from…
