  1. Plugin Set - add after installation and combining

    plugin set: Combine and After-install -
    It would be nice, to add a complete plugin-set to an existing WP installation.

    further it would be also nice to combine sets. so it would be possible to build such sets as:
    - basic set
    - security set
    - seo set

    • Photoset
    • seller/ e-commerce set

    and so on

    This request has actually two features: set installation on an existing site and ability to combine sets.

    Installation of sets on existing sites is already available starting with WPT 4.4.0: visit the Sets tab, find the required set, and click on Install Set in the corresponding ‘…’ dropdown menu.

    Combining sets is not available and there’s a relatively easy workaround — just make a new set that inludes all required plugins. Or, if you need these “sub-sets” for installation on existing sites, just make a bunch of separate sets and install them one after another.

    We’’re closing this request as completed, since we have the set installation on existing sites. However, if you still feel that you need the ability to combine sets, please feel free to create another request. In this case we’d appreciate if you could provide as much details about your scenario as possible to better understand…

    This feature request got only very few votes over the course of 5 years. This may be owed to the fact that it poses indeed security risks to implement the requested model. Instead, Plesk focuses on making a server, the panel and subscriptions on that server secure. For these reasons we decline this request.

  4. Set higher timeout for the Web Admin in Plesk Panel for Windows

    The webadmin is an aspx application and it's default timeout is often 2-3 minutes, because session state for that app is InProc (default) and so this is subject to the app recycling pool of IIS (often less than 5 minutes). The problem is especially relevant on servers with a low load (when no users are clicking anything for some time, processes are killed and so the session state, causing a frequent session expiration).

    It should be enough to set Web.config file for the webadmin aspx application to store session state in a SQL server custom db

  5. WordPress Toolkit. Possibility to log into wordpress for a site that resolves to another server IP

    Possibility to log into wordpress in case of site was migrated from another server or for newly created site that is not resolved.
    Currently to log into wordpress it's needed to add "IP site" to hosts file.

  6. Update GUID during process migration

    Update GUID during process migration. Plesk migration tool needs to be updated to do this. This will avoid any issues with GUID conflicts.

  7. Modify absolute filesystem paths in databases during migration

    Plesk Migrator is doing a good job in modifying user credentials and filesystem paths in php-Files during migration (If the option to do so is set). However there exist some CMS, which also store (absolute) filesystem paths in the database.
    It would be nice for the migrator to modify those paths also. Since the databases are dumped from the source system, it should be an easy task to add a sed-command to replace paths, before importing the dump on the target server.

  8. set default service plan when creating a new subscription

    Allow me to set the default "Service plan" when creating a new Subscription.

    It currently defaults to "Default Domain" and I would prefer it be "Unlimited"

    Often customer forget to select unlimited and when creating new Subscriptions.

  9. Have a status/progress bar when uploading restore files to a new installation (Migrator progess bar)

    At the moment I have no idea how far along my upload is, or if the Plesk Control Panel has times out or just stuck.

    It would be really helpful to have a progress bar or remaining data outstanding to upload on the screen

  10. Add ability to edit/remove email import in Site Import extension

    If mail is imported with wrong settings by mistake, e.g. [Import to * existing mailbox/ create a new mailbox] or [Destination email *] fields are set wrong, it would be handy to have an option to edit those settings after the import or to revert the import operation.

    Now there is only re-sync option is present.

    Add the notification in Plesk that Fail2ban is enabled or disabled so that Plesk Admin can see if tFail2ban service is working or not in Tools&Settings > Fail2Ban, e.g. "Fail2ban is active".

  13. php switch after update

    can it be that with an update of the php versions, the webspaces/subscription settings are changed and with the php settings 5.3 to 5.4? in the subscription also the settings are changed, so that the reseller and also the customer have no more access to the php settings. although the access to the settings was granted for the customer.

  15. Add historical CPU and RAM usage by subscription in Plesk Repair Kit

    Currently, Plesk Repair Kit extension does monitor in real time the CPU and RAM usage per domain: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007784053-Is-it-possible-to-monitor-CPU-Memory-like-in-Health-Monitor-per-domain-subscription-basis-

    However, it doesn't register/save and historical usage. It would be really helpful that this extension would keep a CPU and RAM usage history, a graph, a timeline, in order to plan CPU and RAM limits set by CGroups Manager.

  16. Add ability to hide hide controls for "rejection of messages for non-existent mail addresses" for admins and resellers

    Currently, the function Tools & Settings --> Interface management --> Interface control visibility
    --> "Hide controls for rejection messages for non-existent mail addresses" hide control only for users. Admins and resellers still can manage this.

  17. Enable IIS option "loadUserProfile:true" for dedicated application pools

    In Windows Server IIS, it is recommended to set loadUserProfile:true for dedicated application pools. Doing so guarantees better application isolation and security for web applications created with ASP.NET, .NET Core or PHP.

    Send statistics Summary Report to several mail addresses. Specify them by separating via colon or semicolon.

    This request only got 3 votes in 4 years. It did not become popular so we must decline it. However, there is an easy workaround: Simply create an email address with a forwarding list and add the addresses where you want the report to be forwarded to that list. Then use the list address as the report recipient.

  20. Add the ability to Download/Upload a list of domains to the Mail Server Blacklist/Whitelist

    Add the ability to download/upload a list of the domains from Whitelist of Blacklist (Tools&Settings > Mail tab) as a text file so it is possible to add all the required domains at once.
