  1. Global Default Option: Move Spam to Spam/Junk Folder

    Currently, in Plesk, the option to automatically move detected spam emails to the Spam/Junk folder must be configured individually for each mailbox.

    I suggest adding a global default setting in Tools & Settings → Spam Filter that enables “Move spam to Spam folder” by default for all existing and new mail accounts – regardless of individual user settings.

    Add a checkbox in global spam filter settings: “Enable ‘Move spam to Spam folder’ by default for all mailboxes”

    This is a fundamental feature that I believe everyone would welcome, and since it will also be optional, everyone will still…

  2. Plesk Migrator respect the ownership

    Would be a good idea have an option (OPTIONAL, not force us with that pls) to add:
    "--no-perms --no-owner --no-group" at the rsync command.
    So when you use PMM to re-sync a domain that you already moved, it will maintain the ownership and permissions set.
    And let you fix permissions only first time.

  3. Disable multiple tabs support in the code editor

    Disable multiple tabs support in the text / code editor via panel.ini or in FileManager settings or Code Editor settings

    Multiple customers have edited accidentally the wrong file because there were multiple files with the same name opened.

    Also, it would be nice that the name of the file would show the full path when placing the mouse on hover, to avoid the same kind of mistake/accident.

  4. Lower passenger log level to 3 by default

    In plesk the log level of passenger in /etc/nginx/conf.d/phusion-passenger.conf and /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/passenger.conf
    is set to 5, which is a debug log level https://www.phusionpassenger.com/library/config/nginx/reference/#passenger_log_level

    This is too high and creates logs of 300Mb within 2 days, it should be set to 3 by default

  5. Possibility to use URL and SVG filetype as Plesk logo

    Currently, it is only possible to upload a file in "Tools & Settings > Branding > Logo" for the plesk logo.

    Following 2 things would be cool:
    - Possibility to use a URL instead of a static file (we have a fileserver with our logo, when it changes we can just update it there and plesk would take the new one automatically)
    - Possibility to use a SVG as logo.

    Currently this is not changeable, the logo is defined in /opt/psa/admin/application/default/layouts/simplified.phtml:

        <header class="page-simplified__header">
            <div class="page-simplified__header-inner">
                <div class="page-simplified__header-logo">
                    <?= $this->logo(); ?>
                </div>

  7. make folder switching more robust. Using ASP i forgot to set the correct folder in Visual studio for the app to run in.

    Make folder switching for ASP.Net users more error prone.

    I am using ASP.Net webforms and in Visual Studio under properties I have to set a target URL for the application.

    It was still set to: 'http://mydomain.com/1502106';

    After changing to the new folder ''http://mydomain.com/150210'; and uploading the files to that folder again, I could switch the folder in the hosting settings successfully to the new folder.

    This step failed before with the wrong folder name in the app.
    I must admit I waited five minutes when it showed 'please wait'
    with the 'spinning ring' but then I…

  8. Display on the domain list when a domain does not resolve to the server

    Sometimes clients change their DNS to point to new hosting providers without informing us and sometimes the accounts department don't let us know when a service has been cancelled. Showing in the panel when a domain does not resolve to the ip it was set up on would be helpful in these circumstances.

  11. Allow setting MAILFROM field in crons from Plesk Interface

    When a customer adds a cronjob within the Plesk interface through "Scheduled tasks", they can set the recipient (MAILTO field) of the cron with the "Send notifications to" field, but there is no option to set the sender (MAILFROM field). By default, the sender for crondaemon is user@server.tld, which in our case causes SPF errors with the receiving mail server of the recipient.

    We do not give our clients CLI access, so they cannot manually set it with the crontab -e command, nor should they (the whole point of the Plesk Interface is for GUI-style ease of use). Could…

    Thank you for your idea and your additional explanation. As the use case is probably an edge case, we'll need to see whether many other users believe that this is an important feature that they need.

    If you believe it is an important feature, please continue voting for this feature request.

  12. Identify live domains by verifying they're reachable

    I have two servers that basically just mirror my domains. When I need to update the operating system on one of them, I migrate to the other and repoint the IP addresses. Fairly simple, DIY manual failover basically. (BTW, it would be great if this was more automated with regular incremental backups to the failover server.)

    When I'm on the "inactive" failover server (when the domains are pointed at the other server's IP address), there is no indication that the domains are not reachable by the current server's IP address, which leads to confusion when switching between browser tabs to…

  13. Function to set automatically or by clicking delete Trash and Spam mails of selected subscriptions

    Plesk is easy to use for everyone.
    But you can't easily delete the spam mails or trash of all your customers mailboxes.

    A new feature where you can set: Delete items in Spam older than 90 Days and delete items in trash older than 60 Days for specific subscriptions will be really nice.

    ...much customers let spam and trash boxes grow up to 5000+ Mails - that's using resources for nothing.

  15. Disable SSL for a Domain not possible. Plesk Cert is always presented.

    It is not possible to disable SSL for a Domain completely.
    Server Cert is presented to customers.
    SSL uncheck does not work in Hosting-Settings.

  17. Implement the ability to remove the default certificate from newly created domains.

    When creating a default server certificate within "Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates" it appears for all domains created, even those domains which doesn't match with the server certificate name.

    Implementing a feature at "SSL/TLS Certificates" to avoid displaying the default server certificate for customers within "Domain > example.com > Hosting Settings > Security" can avoid having a customer use a certificate which doesn't match with their domain.

  18. Allow setting AUTOCLOSE for MS SQL databases on Plesk Panel for Windows

    The AUTOCLOSE enabled is the root of the evil 9001 Fatal Error on MSSQL (it's so evil that MS dropped this param in SQL Server 2014).
    All production sites in the world disables them, but it is default ON. Users may want to control this param from the Plesk GUI.

  19. Make customising DNS/MX records far clearer and easier!

    New to Plesk. Understanding how to set up previously existing DNS customisations on a per domain level is next to impossible! Quite frustrating that something so basic is either hidden away in some obscure place or does not exist at all. The interface needs to be far more intuitive. Perhaps have a "simple view" view and a "full view" option, so we can use all the bells and whistles if we need/want to, but can avoid the distraction is we don't.

    Protected directories is not Plesk mechanism so we should not force to use Plesk policy.
