  1. Plesk Premium Email: Creating/managing groups for shared folders

It should be possible to create user groups for Plesk Premium Email, so it would only be necessary to define permissions once and then add users to the group.

Afterwards it should be possible to assign the groups to shared folders, that way it is easier to add the same users to different folders.

Folders in questions are - Mail Folder, Calendar, Task List, Address Book, Files Folder

  2. Empty .trash folder even if it contains read-only/write-only files

When the .trash folder contains read-only directories or files, it cannot be emptied with the "Emtpy Recycle Bin" button of "File Manager". Instead it throws errors that Linux "rm" cannot access the files or directories for removal.

As these files and directories are in the trash folder, I propose to delete such files anyway as otherwise a user without console access or limited knowledge (such as using FTP to change file permissions, if that is possible at all for the FTP user account) can't ever remove such files.

  3. Don't want to use "mchk --with -spam" I want the anti - virus setting correctly set after migration

Anti-virus settings are not reflected correctly when migrating mails.
I know I can solve it using "mchk --with -spam", but I do not want to use "mchk --with -spam" but I want the settings to be reflected correctly after migration

    Thank you for your input!
Unfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

  4. Enable using domain's IP to send email on Plesk for Windows

It would be nice to be able to set the IP address used to send mails as the domain's IP, the same way it happens on Plesk for Linux.

  5. Implement IMMEDIATELY, compatibility between linux and windows system!!!

It is not serious to sell a paltform without interoperability between s.o. This limitation is very awflul, and not serious.
the usefulness of a platform is the possibility to have a flawless exchange between operating systems too.
Until you don't implement the interoperability, you should allow the exchange between linux and windows licences... We' ve tried the transfer between a linux based system and a windows based system... after a lot of work, we reverted to a linux based system on the new server, but we are not able to revert the linux license in a windows license... this…

What do you mean then you’re saying about “flawless exchange between operating systems”? And what is “the exchange between linux and windows licences”? Can you clarify what scenarios you are asking about?

Upd: we are sorry to hear about this issue. Please open a support ticket and/or contact your sales rep to address this issue. However, we have to close this request as “irrelevant” no information was provided for several months.

  6. Bring back the old Plesk, along with the best service (like in the glory days)

Being a customer from (almost) the first hour back in 1999 we have seen a lot of (bad) changes in and around Plesk.

However the last approx. 4 years things have become far more worse. This was the exact same time Plesk was acquired by British Oakley Capital Limited (investment company).

They also acquired (under the portfolio name WebPros) cPanel, WHMCS, SolusVM and others. And they all suffer from the exact same things!

The Plesk product is becoming worse by every new "update" and we have experienced already two (massive) price increases.

So I vote Plesk to become a…

  7. Windows Server backup and Plesl configuration backup works as disaster recovery. As Plesk backup on very big backup is too slow.

Windows Server backup (2008 onwards) + Plesk configuration backup works as disaster recovery. As Plesk backup on very big backup is too slow to backup, If possible where WSB + plesk configuration work for full server recovery and for single domain recovery including mailing SQL and component i.e. data comes from WSB and permission and settings comes from configuration .

  8. Rename special folders for IMAP or active Dovecot Plugin fix Android issue

    Mailbox alias plugin

Requires Dovecot v2.1.10+ (and currently mailboxlistindex=no). This plugin can be used to configure mailbox aliases, which on the filesystem level are symlinks to other mailboxes. This doesn't magically solve the problem of showing clients e.g. multiple Sent mailboxes, but it can be used to make sure that all of the different variants will have the same mails in them. Unfortunately it also means that some clients will download the same mails to local cache multiple times.

The way it works is that:

The aliases won't be visible until…

On Plesk Onyx we have Dovecot 2.2.26.0 version.
Issue, described by you, looks like bugreport for Android case, but not like feature request. Note: only feature requests are allowed here, so we would appreciate if you post bugs and issues on our forum at https://talk.plesk.com according to special bugreport template there. We are closing this request, since it does not contain any feature suggestions.

  9. 2 contact email addresses

It would be convenient to be able to enter 2 contact email addresses. One for general purposes and another for technical support purposes. My brother manages the content of his site which I build for him in Wordpress. I manage the updates and all other (too technical for him) issues. Currently he gets all mails from ImCloud, it would be nice if I would get update warnings etc directly on my own email address.

  10. Log changes in the DNS zones to the Action Log

Currently, logging DNS zone changes is limited to the fact that there was a change:

    192.168.1.22 admin [2019-05-22 16:14:42] 'Default domain, DNS zone updated' ('Client GUID': '4ea73128-7ba2-4cf5-b4f8-35084d078381' => '4ea73128-7ba2-4cf5-b4f8-35084d078381', 'Domain GUID': '9d1f3706-259d-4fe6-8df4-c04cea7b9771' => '9d1f3706-259d-4fe6-8df4-c04cea7b9771', 'Domain Name': 'example.com' => 'example.com')

It would be nice to have an actual diff between the previous and the new state of the DNS zone, as in the current state there is not enough information

  11. I'm french, my english is poor, my site is blocked (https://asso-rav.org), thanks repair

  12. you should add a shell or a terminal directly linked to the web hosting server

Adding a shell or terminal directly linked to the web hosting server can provide users with direct access to server commands and functionalities. Here are some considerations and points to keep in mind when implementing such a feature:

    Security Measures:

Security should be a top priority. Ensure that the shell or terminal is properly secured to prevent unauthorized access.
Implement authentication mechanisms to verify the identity of users before granting access to the shell.
Use encryption (e.g., HTTPS) to secure communication between the client and the server.
    Access Control:

Implement access controls to restrict certain commands or functionalities based on…

  14. Enable dynamic IP restriction in IIS for newly created domains

Dynamic IP restriction in IIS is useful to restrict IPs to certain connection rate limits, for example during DDoS attacks. Enabling the feature on newly created domains could be useful.

  15. Assign a user to access only specific subscriptions

    https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377560285975-How-to-create-a-Plesk-user-with-an-access-to-all-subscriptions-or-a-particular-one

Currently, there is no option to selectively assign a user to access multiple subscriptions.
The available choices are limited to granting access to either a single subscription or all subscriptions.

As on a subscription level the security model does not allow to add a role user to one subscription who can access another subscription, too, (that would break the security model, because then users could create their own permissions to access other users' subscriptions) it will not be possible to add a feature where a user inside one subscription can be allowed to access other subscriptions.

But: You can assign multiple, selected subscriptions to the same owner (user), so that when that user logs in, he sees all the subscriptions assigned to him and can access the subscription of his choice with a single user login. In order to assign a subscription to an existing user (subscriber), click on the "Subscription" menu, check the subscription(s) that you wish to link to another subscriber and click the button "Change Subscriber".

  16. Add CLI Support in WP Toolkit to Apply Security Measures (e.g., disable XML-RPC)

Currently, WordPress Toolkit in Plesk does not support applying security measures (such as blocking access to xmlrpc.php) via CLI.

This limits automation and scalability, especially for hosting providers managing multiple WordPress installations.

Please consider adding CLI options to apply specific security measures—similar to what’s available in the UI and API—for improved scripting and bulk management capabilities.

  18. Migrating several servers to one without changing registrar parameters

The intention is that every reseller will get a separate basic IP (default) and optional additional IPs that he can use for special purposes.

All of these IPs shall be different from the server IP.

As a result: can we expect that the SSH access by IP is limited to the given reseller package so that he cannot see other reseller packages that exist in parallel and he never should see things you normally see if you are Admin of the total server.

    Example:
server has IP 86.86.86.86, hostname xcs2.example.com, root access only for us as a provider. We…

The feature requests contains at least two different requests. The headline does not match the content. The content is asking for features that already exist (e.g. chrooted SSH access). It also sounds as if it asks for something that is technically impossible for a panel (KVM virtualization, separate, caged virtual servers that can be rebooted --> task of a virtualization environment, not a control panel). We are sorry, but this feature request cannot be accepted as it is right now. Please

    - match headline and content

    - request only one feature per request
