By the end of 2022 the market share of Oracle Linux was only half of the next up competitor Alma and less than 1/10 of RHEL, Rocky and Alma combined. For that reason, we'd love to hear from you why you believe that Oracle Linux will be the next big player despite the low market share.
For example do you see specific technical reasons why Oracle Linux should be preferred over development for the much more popular platforms? E.g. ARM support and do you actually need it? Are there other aspects that can give good reasons to consider this OS over others?

I did a test of my websites and notice this vulnerability. I now understand why my virus scanner on my desktop won't accept the webpage. That is very scary, if clients come to my website and there virus scanner does the same, I am having a big problem. I love Plesk but Plesk I am very disappointed at the moment.

Thank you for your input. We will consider the possibility of implementing this feature in upcoming releases.
Since Plesk Onyx panel admin will be able to install different MySQL versions as a Docker containers, then the DB servers can be connected as remote DB to Plesk.

Please upgrade Magento version 1.9.2.1 to version 1.9.2.2 as soon as possible. I received a Magento warning to day! There is a mallware abussing some problems in earlier versions of Magento. Version 1.9.2.2 helps resolving this and other issues.

Detailed instructions for updating MySQL and MariaDB on different operating systems are already available from a Knowledge Base article https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213403429 .

MariaDB version 10 is supported on Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 but not installed. It would be easier if Plesk had a selector for this as for PHP version used on the server. If you want to update please follow this link on Plesk technical support https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213403429-How-to-upgrade-MySQL-5-5-to-5-6-5-7-on-Linux#centos7
I did not try it yet, so I do not have any experience to share, but if its from Plesk it self, it should work.

Since it is sure Centos 8 will stop existing in December 2021. It would be nice if Plesk would consider supporting Oracle Linux, which also seems to be free and secure like Centos 8. If I read the information on Oracle Linux right, it is even better than Centos, and migrating to Oracle seems not that difficult. They already have the scripts now for some years on Github. Better security for users with Plesk would be appreciated. Please do not hesitate.
Is it already possible to try this with Plesk Obsidian?
