Customizable Plesk notification email address
Plesk has the ability to send notifications. However, with the latest version (v18.0.32) these are sent to my "External email address" of the admin user. But since I as admin user enter my Apple iCloud email "name@icloud.com" there, it is used as both sender and recipient and all notification emails end up in the spam folder of my iCloud mail.
It would be really great if you could separate the administrator email from the notification email address and change it specifically so that email notifications are sent from "Plesk@domain.tld" to the external administrator email "name@icloud.com…28 votesAs https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/16956373-set-a-senders-email-address-for-plesk-notification was resolved and the sender address of notifications is now customizable we are wondering whether the issue described in this feature request cannot also be considered solved. The issue here was described as sender and recipient being the same address so that notifications are evaluated as "spam" at the recipient's mailbox. However, now that the sender address can be customized, this could easily be circumvented.
Further, the recipient address of notifications can be freely set in the notifications page.
Please comment if and why this feature request is still actual.

Add variables to 'Auto-reply message text'
Add variables to 'Auto-reply message text' same as <request_from>, for example for 'Auto-reply message subject'. Exampe of such variable:
<request_text> copying the body message to the autoreply message.2 votesWe can consider adding the feature. However, if you auto-respond to spam emails and quote the body of the email you will automatically send spam as well. In a way, such a feature can do more harm than good. With that said, could you please provide us with solid arguments on the pros of such a feature that surpass the cons? Thank you in advance.

Great fight against spam: Make possible to add settings in '.cf' for spamassassin like adding an helping DNSBL and/or modifying scores
The possibility to add DNSBL's is not bad, but not good as without knowing several emails are blocked and in these blocked emails sometimes is a or several hams/emails as false positives. Much better would be being able to put in an '.cf'-configurations-file for spamassassin 'DNSBL's, which do not block but move emails identified as spam to the spam folder. Later on the customer can watch from time to time if hams/femails as alse positives have been sorted out wrongly and put them back to the inbox or a sucfolder which is not for spams.
A rule can even learn…
1 voteThank you for your input. SpamAssassin quarantines messages based on certain scoring. Although you can tweak these settings, if you have DNSBL configured your emails get rejected before they reach SpamAssassin. The problem here is with the reject policy of postfix. As far as I am aware those policies are not as flexible as one might want and it is fairly complicated to configure. If you have any suggestion on achieving this particular goal, we would love to hear it. Thank you in advance.
