Don't want to use "mchk --with -spam" I want the anti - virus setting correctly set after migration
Anti-virus settings are not reflected correctly when migrating mails.
I know I can solve it using "mchk --with -spam", but I do not want to use "mchk --with -spam" but I want the settings to be reflected correctly after migration1 voteThank you for your input!

Fast email account migration.
When migrating 1000+ email account from a domain, it takes forever to create them in the destination server. You should change the process to make a bulk creation, instead of one by one.

Drupal and Joomla Scan & Discovery
After migrating a Drupal or Joomla, before or after a disaster recovery the Drupal and Joomla sites are no longer attached to the Plesk Panel. The Drupal core updates no longer work, which was a nice time saving feature.
If anyone has a work around please let me know

Migration tool - update remote DNS
We would like the Migration tool to work like it does on Cpanel.
When cpanel migrates an account if it is successfully migrated it will change the DNS records on the old server to point to the new server, this way clients do not loose emails while it waits for the name servers to move to the new DNS IPs.
If we are migrating 1000+ subscriptions, we cant update the NS1/NS2 IPs until all is done, during this time many emails have gone to the old server and clients may loose them! On Cpanel this wouldn't happen it would update…

We already have an ability switch DNS in Advanced Migration Mode (https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/migration-guide/migrating-from-supported-hosting-platfoms/advanced-migration-mode.77166/), is there a particular reason you are not using this feature?

Ability to upload IP mapping file in GUI
The manual
https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/migration-guide/ip-mapping.75658/
says that you need to use CLI option --ip-mapping-file in order to be able to use IP Mapping file in Onyx. The FR is to be able to upload the IP Mapping file via GUI for those who exclusively use GUI for migrations.

bulk e-mail creation and API's for integrating plesk and proprietary systems
When I am migrating a website to a plesk account, sometimes I have to create 50 e-mail accounts. It would be a lot eazyer if I could just import them from a CSV file or something similar, or maybe integrate plesk and my proprietary system so I can disable costumer accounts when they don't pay and some other administrative routines.
1 voteThere is another request about CSV import – https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/4130484-create-multiple-e-mails-from-csv-file

To use domain names instead of IP
Before, you could do the migrations using domain names and now, since the last update, only supports IP. It is much more comfortable to use domain names.
1 voteDescription of the field to enter IP address of source server was always “IP address”. It means numeric IP, not hostname. Migrator is developed (and always was) in such a way, that there was expected numeric IP. The case when you entered hostname in the past and it all work okay is not documented feature that was never tested and might cause incorrect work or failure of migrator in some cases, which you probably did not stumble. So starting from Migrator 2.0.x there is protection so that customers enter numeric IP and not hostname.
It is quite easy for user to resolve hostname in IP and copy&paste it in “Source server IP:” field. There are no further plans to extend functionality so that Migrator start working with hostnames in a safe manner.

Website copy with password protected folders
Hi,
With the "site copy" functionnality, I can move website A to website B. Great.
But the copy don't keep the password protected folders : I have to recreate them.
It could be great to add an option for migrate password protected folders with the website copy.
Thanks.

Migration from Enkompass (CPanel for Windows)
We would really like to move 6 of our Enkompass Servers (CPanel for Windows) to Plesk as CPanel dropped development for enkompass some years ago and we would like an nice migration from Enkompass.
I could mirror our production environment to a test bed to help with development if need be.

Create Migration Tool from Odin Plesk Automation (OPA 11.5) to Plesk 12.*
I believe the reverse is already there from Plesk to OPA but there is nothing to go the other way.
With the planned demise of OPA we would like to be ahead of the curve and already be using Plesk 12.* throughout with either OBAS or WHMCS as the billing automation.1 voteUnfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

plesk migration only Synchronize already migrated domains
On huge migrations that have been delayed for days we need perform manyal sync of mail boxes, files and databases to be able all info is in sync before change IP's or DNS.
This feature is already present in Plesk 12.x, but only as option for current migration. Please, could you take consideration add
"Synchronize to check if there are any updates for **************************** components." as stand alone option to keep in sync already completed migrations?
This feature could also match partially: #5284370-synchronize-plesk-servers
and could fit needed by other users like: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-panel-migration-manager-is-there-a-way-to-do-an-incremental-resync-after-initial-transfer.333719/3 votesThank you for your input!

staging
Please provide a way to run a script after you do copy of databases / files so you can easily search and replace connection strings, urls etc.
It would be easy to implement for you, and a cool as hell feature to have in plesk.
At the moment I need to do this every time I copy between environments.

Assign Selected only service to a customer
It would be good if you can only assign certain extras a customer, such as SiteBuilder or Let's Encrypt
1 voteThank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, this request contains several different suggestions, and it’s not technically possible to properly handle them inside one request. Please consider creating separate feature requests for each of the items below:
1. SiteBuilder
There is already possibility to assign SiteBuilder.2. LetsEncrypt
We do not plan to restrict the use of free of charge LetsEncrypt per-customer. It will continue being enabled for all. Please create a new request for any other item, which now cannot be enabled on per-customer basis so that others could vote for it.
Thank you.

Let nginx reverse-proxy deliver data from source system until transfer is finished
It would help us, if during a migration, while the destination system got the domain configuration, but not yet the data, the nginx-component of the destination server would work as reverse proxy for the source system.
So a client, requesting data for a domain from the destination server could already be served content, even though the data is not yet transferred. After the transfer is completed, the configuration can be changed back to the usual “nginx points to local apache” configuration.1 voteThank you for your input!

Modify absolute filesystem paths in databases during migration
Plesk Migrator is doing a good job in modifying user credentials and filesystem paths in php-Files during migration (If the option to do so is set). However there exist some CMS, which also store (absolute) filesystem paths in the database.
It would be nice for the migrator to modify those paths also. Since the databases are dumped from the source system, it should be an easy task to add a sed-command to replace paths, before importing the dump on the target server.1 voteThank you for your input!

Plesk Migrator respect the ownership
Would be a good idea have an option (OPTIONAL, not force us with that pls) to add:
"--no-perms --no-owner --no-group" at the rsync command.
So when you use PMM to re-sync a domain that you already moved, it will maintain the ownership and permissions set.
And let you fix permissions only first time.1 voteThank you for your input!

Allow restoration of manaully migrated data in new Plesk Migrator extension
The old Migration and Transfer agent to migrate data that had already been created by using the PleskX.pl migration script by selecting the option in the migration wizard.
The new Plesk Migrator does not support this feature thus the manual method of migration is no longer available in Plesk 12.5 (as per below KB artilcle):
1 voteSorry, but we don’t plan to implement this functionality in the new Plesk Migrator extension.
Please use old migration tool to migrate to Plesk 12.0, and then upgrade Plesk to version 12.5.
