Multiple DNS Templates
Having multiple DNS Templates, ideally selectable in a Service Plan, would add a great deal of flexibility in Plesk. For example, we have one type of Subscription that involves external store-and-forward mail servers for email backup. When a customer selects this type of Service Plan we have to manually adjust the DNS records to point to the appropriate mailservers. So it would be great if we could define multiple DNS Templates, then select the appropriate template in the appropriate Service Plan.

Yes, This is a must feature looking at multiple email Solutions we offer, Hope this is implemented asap by Plesk.

It would be helpful to have a few more variables for DNS Templates:
Example Domain Name: mydomain.com
<domainprefix> or something similar that would produce the ‘mydomain’ part without the .com
<tld> or something similar that would produce the ‘com’ part only, without the dot ‘.’ before it.
This would be useful to create the MX Records for Microsoft Office 365. Example MX Record for Office 365:
mydomain-com.mail.protection.outlook.com
<domainprefix>-<tld>.mail.protection.outlook.com -

I'm wanting to migrate from dnsmadeeasy.com and I have many templates I apply... for example, different templates for each email provider they use, Office 365, Gmail, Zoho Mail, etc. I have no idea how to do this now???

Serisously? Just do it people. Or give us free support who will be updating all MX records for Gmail for customers that use it.

This would be useful, very useful, especially after the pricing plan changes with Plesk. If this is possible we can cancel 100 (or even more) uber expensive Plesk licenses...

This is definitely needed with the amount of Office 365 records that have to be entered. The other options would be the ability to import and export records.

Right now I use event manager (service plan changed) to run custom script that adjusting dns entries. But it would be nice if this feature added to Plesk.

Yes this is a must. I need the default template for new domains but also for all our clients we set up with Office 365 for Business or Google Apps, we need to be able to apply a template for those. It's totally unproductive to be sitting here copying and pasting dns entries every single time.
Surly adding in ability for a primary / default dns zone template as well as some secondary templates that can be applied to a domain is not a hard task for Odin to achieve.
