Windows Fail2Ban

The new security option for plesk 12 is Fail2Ban, but it is only for Linux version.

There is an opensorce for windows.

    Plesk Obsidian for Windows has "Flex Firewall Manager" which, in my opinion, works quite well.

    I suggest to Parallels Team include Fail2Ban feature for Windows version plesk, as we are facing lot of issues relatively.

    IPBan For Windows now has Linux port as well
    There's also IPBan Pro that allows easier configuration for multiple servers

    On Windows, RDP, OpenSSH, VNC, MySQL, SQL Server and Exchange are watched. More applications can easily be added via config file.

    Voting for this because our Plesk Windows Servers are also encountering massive port 1433 brute force attacks and hoping this could solve it.

    Just to highlight another Plesk suggested feature at https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/36804013-block-client-ip-for-sql-server-for-multiple-failed which could be more specific for MSSQL brute force attacks on port 1433. As I am not sure if Windows Fail2Ban actually convers this for MSSQL brute force attacks.

    adding fail2ban or something similar would be good for windows as there are not that many options available unlike linux which seems to have this sort of thing available from the get go.

    Even if this is a paid extension this would be something worth having available.
