Please give us an update of PHP and MySQL
In CentOS 6.5:
php 5.3.3-40.el66
mysql 5.1.73-3.el65
It's too old.

PHP and MySQL are shipped by your OS vendor (CentOS). You shall ask them for upgrade.
Alternatively you can recompile PHP by yourself (which requires certain skill, of course) – see guidance here:
http://kb.sp.parallels.com/en/118378
or you can have PHP Panda solution from Atomic: http://forum.sp.parallels.com/threads/php-panda-multi-php-installer-for-plesk.293750/
Next version of Plesk will have selectable PHP versions shipped. Your votes can support this other feature

Hi ck,
The change log says "internal PHP" - which is about PHP used for Plesk panel itself, but not for your sites. Please see in request status our proposal how you can have newer PHP for your sites.

I see in the change log that the plesk update 35 provides a php update to 5.5.21 - however can anyone confirm if plesk gui is providing the option to select between the existing 5.3.3 php and 5.5.21 as in my instance moving to 5.5.21 is likely to break a few scripts. Moving to a new version of php is not a casual matter as the php community tend to depreciate faster than older scripts can keep sup with. The option (as standard) for plesk users to select the existing php version, or the new version would be most welcome. Over a period of time this will mean a plesk user is able to select between a few versions of php.
