Odoo
I have seen that there are servers with the application of odoo installed type 1and1 and I would like to know if you are going to install it here as certain applications.
I think it would be a good idea to facilitate the user without knowledge that can install odoo with little work.
16 votesOdoo is a highly specific application suite that is mainly targed for SaaS hosting on their own cloud infrastructure. There is a "do-it-yourself" hosting version, yes, but only at a quite high price, and it requires sophisticated knowledge to host and to operate. Users who are able to operate it will not have the requirement for a hosting panel. Odoo also does not seem to be suitable for integration with a hosting panel and the big question is why such an integration would make sense at all for an extensive application like that one. Regarding the very low number of votes for this feature request over the course of 6 years, practical zero interest since 2021, the given technical pre-requisites, the limited market, we must decline this request.

As this feature request has not gained much traction over a long time and it is also about a 3rd party product we encourage you to ask the vendor that product to create a Plesk extension and submit it to the Plesk extension catalog.
Plesk has no plans of adding this tool into the core product at this time.

11 votesThis feature request was valid back then, but over the course of 7 years it only received a handful of votes. Further, in today's webhosting environments most web hosts and hosting plans provide suitable settings for the majority of applications by default. As an implementation of this feature would need a significant investment while the benefit for users would be minimal or non-existent we must decline this request.

Mautic Toolkit
Mautic is the most popular open source software for marketing automation. It would be nice to see a Mautic Toolkit like Wordpress Toolkit or Nexloud Toolkit for Plesk.
7 votesMautic's marketshare is around 1.2 % at the beginning of 2023. This feature request has only received 7 votes in 4 years, so our overall impression is, that this is no yet a quite popular feature. Instead, please ask Mautic to develop an extension for Plesk if they would like to see their product integrated in Plesk. A free API for extension development is available.

Add this application in the list of available applications. It would be easier for us to install it, and create mobile applications in addition to websites.

Disable PHP's open.base_dir restriction by default
Every configured hosting/website gets their proper own user with their own permissions. If you run your website with the PHP-FPM handler, the processes properly run with this very user.
Why is there still open.base_dir restrictions applied by default? I don't really see the point.Why am I asking? Enabling open.basedir has a massively (!) negative impact on performance. PHP's internal realpath cache is automatically disabled when open.basedir is activated which slows down all the file operation calls tremendously.
As the user permissions are properly set up, this is imho a missed opportunity for free performance gains.Sources:

4 votesPlesk acknowledges that there has been a discussion in the PHP community to remove open_basedir from newer PHP versions, but even PHP developers came to the conclusion that it should not be removed. Yes, there are performance impacts, but with all types of security software like network filters, e.g. iptables (and Fail2Ban log analyzer), ModSecurity and antivirus solutions this is just normal and expected. Plesk puts security first, and if there are options to make a site more secure, we'll always prefer these options. open_basedir may not be the best security feature, but it adds some security. This request has not gained much popularity during the past years either. For these reasons we must decline it.

Add an installer for apache solr on tomcat
You have the ability to install Tomcat. It would be cool to have the ability to install the most popular Tomcat web applications such as Apache Solr within the Plesk control panel. Much in the same way you can install multiple versions of php or tomcat, docker etc... Solr would be a great addition.

NodeJS (Linux): Change App/Doc Root Folder Warnings
Having for example "Document Root: /httpdocs" and "Application Root: /httpdocs/api" (where the NodeJS files are) actually works, only that the files in /httpdocs take precedence. So accessing for example "domain.com/api" from browser did not work as there's index.html in /httpdocs, but it works when tested with Postman.
So, I think the warning text can be changed accordingly.
I don't know what security implications does running both a website on /httpdocs and API on /httpdocs/api have, though.

Nodejs reboot app on git update
It would be very handy if it were possible to automatically reboot the Node.js application when a git push is done to branch (master in most cases).
