Parse vhost.conf, vhost_ssl.conf files for included configuration files and migrate included files.
add the ability to parse
#/var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/conf/vhost.conf
#/var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/conf/vhost_ssl.conf
files for included configuration files and migrate included files.3 votesActually, there should not be any manually added included configuration files in that directory. Instead, custom directives for Nginx or Apache should be added to the "Additional Apache and Nginx Directives" fields in the "Apache and Nginx Settings" dialog.
This feature request has only received a very few votes through many years. For this reason we must decline it.

Drupal and Joomla Scan & Discovery
After migrating a Drupal or Joomla, before or after a disaster recovery the Drupal and Joomla sites are no longer attached to the Plesk Panel. The Drupal core updates no longer work, which was a nice time saving feature.
If anyone has a work around please let me know

plesk migration only Synchronize already migrated domains
On huge migrations that have been delayed for days we need perform manyal sync of mail boxes, files and databases to be able all info is in sync before change IP's or DNS.
This feature is already present in Plesk 12.x, but only as option for current migration. Please, could you take consideration add
"Synchronize to check if there are any updates for **************************** components." as stand alone option to keep in sync already completed migrations?
This feature could also match partially: #5284370-synchronize-plesk-servers
and could fit needed by other users like: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-panel-migration-manager-is-there-a-way-to-do-an-incremental-resync-after-initial-transfer.333719/3 votesThank you for your input!

staging
Please provide a way to run a script after you do copy of databases / files so you can easily search and replace connection strings, urls etc.
It would be easy to implement for you, and a cool as hell feature to have in plesk.
At the moment I need to do this every time I copy between environments.

Add the possibility to continue CLI migrations via Plesk UI
Add the possibility to continue CLI migrations via Plesk UI
That way a Migration can be started via CLI and then be resumed via Plesk UI and also allow to re-sync them, or maybe delete them to re-migrate some accounts.

Website copy with password protected folders
Hi,
With the "site copy" functionnality, I can move website A to website B. Great.
But the copy don't keep the password protected folders : I have to recreate them.
It could be great to add an option for migrate password protected folders with the website copy.
Thanks.

Migration from Enkompass (CPanel for Windows)
We would really like to move 6 of our Enkompass Servers (CPanel for Windows) to Plesk as CPanel dropped development for enkompass some years ago and we would like an nice migration from Enkompass.
I could mirror our production environment to a test bed to help with development if need be.

Ability to migrate from Helm 4 to Plesk
It seems odd, that you have magration tools for the old version of Helm (3), but nok for the latest.
I can migrate from Odin (Parallels) Helm 4 to several other controlpanels, but not to Odin (parallels) Plesk.

Migrating sites copies across file permissions
Currenlty using the migration manager file permissions are not copied across. It would be good if file permissions were transferred or replicated else it is difficult to migrate sites without the customer being involved.

rsync from local server and databases. Sync with dev server
Ability to import a domain with rsync from the panel from another server with SSH to import all or select folders to import. To import manually or automatically. It is ideal for development work and production. To do the same on the contrary. Also to do with databases. Configuring remote SSH and database credentials.

Ability to store domain mail content in the domain folder
Please add the ability to store domain mail content in the domain folder like in cPanel /home/$user/mail/domain.tld/emailuser/
In this case, it will be possible manually create a backup for website and mail content just by copying /home/$user/ folder and after restore this folder on the destination server.
1 voteCopy-transfer-insert operations on emails are frequently done, but are a flawed and unsafe method to migrate emails as just one single update (e.g. an incoming mail or an edit on either source or target) while the copying process is not yet completed can break indexes and render the target copy useless.
Providing direct access to mail files from a web space account will also have end users experiment with the files directly, which again will cause a high number of support cases with providers who lease webspace to their users.
Instead, please consider using the free "Site Import" extension which includes a "Mail Import" function, too. With that you can very easily and in a perfectly safe way migrate mailboxes between servers without the need to use a separate migration tool.
The request did not become popular anyway, so we must decline it.
