    As I know, there are no plans to back up Docker containers as it is easy to re-deploy from an image. As for data produced by Docker containers, it is recommended to use native Docker functionality described here https://docs.docker.com/engine/tutorials/dockervolumes/#backup-restore-or-migrate-data-volumes

    Read this post please.
    Very often software RAID is losed and when the good HDD broke down, you get old data back from bad RAID.
