    Thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

    I would very much appreciate if you add some explanation comments why you prefer Amazon Linux instead of already supported OSes (like CentOS/Debian/RedHat/Ubuntu). Why it is important for you?

    AWS Linux is important because it is outfitted with all the instrumentation for SSM and the latest instance types, allowing for creating a self healing server much more easily.
