I am dealing with this very same issue. I have a client that insisted on my giving his MS Office 365 Provider access to the website's DNS settings. And since I use private nameservers for hosted client websites, this wasn't possible unless I create a separate subscription for the domain in order for me to provide DNS Only Access to the custom user role for just that domain. And now if I give the customer the domain.com:8443 to access their control panel, the site with port number is not secure. This feature is absolutely necessary for hosting providers as well as resellers. In fact, we should be able to create a custom port domain like controlpanel and give customers https://domain.com/cpanel or pleskcp in place of :8443. Why isn't this already an option? How can we offer customer accounts and reseller accounts without offering secured login access to their control panel? This is a no brainer. Please expedite this solution offering.

The roles that you can set for additional user accounts can help achieve many of the aspects that are mentioned in this feature request. Please see the blog article https://www.plesk.com/blog/product-technology/how-to-grant-access-website-secure-way/ for getting started with roles.

The original post was made in 2014, and it is now 2024 and I am making the same request. To be able to create a user and give them permissions to a specific website in a subscription that has many websites and file systems. I should be able to do this without moving it to a separate subscription.
Absolutely needed. Can't believe it wasn't added on day 1.
