An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Claudio commentedDesired scenario. Been able to configure an outgoing email server associated to the plesk admin. So plesk uses the remote server to send notifications and alarms .
This could be as simple as configure a relay with no authentication (whitelist IP on remote server) to be used exclusively by plesk admin.
Benefits:
Better email flow control. Simplify email management.
Consider having 10 or 100 plesk servers that need to notify clients from an address on our main domain. This main domain works with SPF, DKIM and other security measures. By using the main email server instead of plesk we simplify deployment and configuration.
Additionally it allow us to control email flow and get evidence regarding if clients are been notify or not.

BTW.. I believe this is common feature to a lot of applications. For example Wordpress or the management interface of a UPS. They have the option to configure a remote server to deliver emails.
