    For what reason have you not yet implemented sftp. The Middle Ages are long behind us!

    Implement sftp quickly for all existing ftp users!

    This feature request only received 12 votes over the course of 6 years. We have reviewed the request and would like to ask you why you believe that vsftpd brings you advantages over the existing solutions (like ProFTPD). The existing FTP server has proven to be great for millions of websites through all the years. Please give us some good arguments why vsftpd would be even better.
