IFTTT Zapier / Automation Integration
to be able to utilize either IFTTT or Zapier
Basic and Advanced Automation with IFTTT/Zapier or other Automation via API and WebhooksUsage :
Auto-respond to form submissions: You can set up an automation that automatically responds to form submissions on your website hosted on Plesk. For example, you can send an email to the person who filled out the form, thanking them for their submission.Sync data with Google Sheets: You can use IFTTT or Zapier to automatically sync data from your website hosted on Plesk with a Google Sheets document. This can help you keep track of important…
1 voteIFTTT and Zapier are both paid third-party subscription services. If companies running such services would like to integrate their business models with Plesk, Plesk offers a free API for them where they can develop extensions for Plesk. Please refer our documentation to them, if you ask them to integrate their services with Plesk: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/extensions-guide/plesk-extensions-in-a-nutshell.76331/

1 votePlesk is looking into AI integration. But for this request, we are sorry, but "various tasks" is too vague to derive specific feature improvements from it. Sure we all want a sci-fi utopia scenario where all tasks can be done by an AI that interprets questions and requests correctly. But let's start with small steps and specific tasks. Please post specific requests for specific single functions so that it becomes clear how, why and where users benefit from adding AI to a feature.

Email Monitoring System
The Plesk Control Panel, from my point of view, is amazing and using graphics and illustration in great way compared to other control panels. However, the Plesk CP lack an overview of what is going on ?
Using Outgoing Mail Control, Mail-log extention and Plesk Email Security extension is confusing. You need to track severl locations to see what is going on?
We need a comperhesive email moniroting system (PLESK CEMS). Using the great graphics of Plesk Email Security extention(statistics) and data from mail log, Outgoing Mail Control, adding ability to search, filter, set email alert based on cirten critera…
1 voteHi Hakem, we do understand that you would like to have a comprehensive email monitoring system, but this includes many different aspects that cannot be tracked in a single Uservoice feature request. Per feature request only one request can be handled, e.g. "add the ability to send an email alert if ...", "filter the list of emails on page ... by criteria ..." etc.
For that reason we must decline this combined request.

MS Expression Web 4 was published in 2006 and end of life in 2012. This includes the MS Frontpage extensions for servers. Neither are these products maintained since then, nor can they be downloaded from the original sources. Plesk understands that there may still be some users who cherish this software, but focuses on more current products in its further development. For that reason we must respectfully decline your suggestion.

Let's encrypt plugin should set TTL=30secs when modifying _acme DNS registers
When the Let's Encrypt plugin within SSL It! modifies the _acme register on the DNS zone it sets the TTL to the default amount of time by default the zone has.
I think the _acme registers should be as low as 30 seconds to avoid problems when reissuing certs with the caches of the DNS servers.
I think it's one easy to do modification.
Regards,
1 voteHi @NetVicious. Thank you for your feature request. However, it seems that this is related to a rare experience where a TTL did not work in some specific case. We are seeing thousands of transactions where TTL is 3600 and there has never been any issue reported on it. If you are experiencing a specific case where the default setting has not worked correctly for you, we ask you to please open a ticket with support so that the issue can be investigated on your server.

Ability to secure other subdomains than the webmail with the Plesk certificate
As MyLittleAdmin (mssql.example.com) uses the same certificate as the Plesk Interface (as the redirection is managed by Plesk), add the ability to secure other subdomains, such as mssql in Plesk for Windows to be able to access MyLittleAdmin via https without warnings.
1 voteIn the nearest future, we plan to stop shipping MyLittleAdmin with Plesk. This is because MyLittleAdmin is not in active development, and has known security issues. Instead, Plesk will provide links to downloadable clients and instructions on how to connect the client to the Plesk server. This change is currently scheduled to take place with the release of Plesk Obsidian 18.0.53 (early June 2023).

Allow access to Presence Builder from control panel
It's probably a bug rather than anything else, but since the first version of Obsidian, there is no more link from the domain control panel to Web Presence Builder. You have to tinker around with different views and moving into the subscription settings to be able to open the site for editing.
The feature request is: provide a link to Web Presence Builder, at least for sites for which it is installed, on the domain overview, in all views.
1 voteHi Andor,
thank you for your input. Unfortunately, we do not plan on introducing major changes to Web Presence Builder or its integration into the panel at the moment.

Allow local sandbox development Plesk license for online hosting Plesk users
Many hosted server Plesk users like myself like to run a local network hosted server mirror, purely for development purposes.
It would be great if the Plesk licensing was more flexible to allow online dedicated and virtual server hosting customers using Plesk, to download and install one additional copy of Plesk on their local development server to create a locally hosted mirror server development environment.
Whether this be done freely using the same license key for a 1+1 restricted approach (ie cannot have multiple users and cannot be hosted online), else perhaps a reasonable annual fee, rather than having to…

Improve support for third-party app extensions (particularly WordPress)
At the moment, many third-party app extensions for apps in Plesk like WordPress are not supported without a significant amount of server dependencies being installed. At present, this is not possible to do from within Plesk and requires direct access to server shell and a significant amount of technical skill. It would be great if Plesk incorporated the ability to install server dependencies without needing to use the server shell.

Mastodon
As people are fleeing an erratic Twitter the free, decentralized but federated alternative Mastodon gains popularity. Support of Mastodon as a one-click-installable server application would be very nice.
Thanks
1 voteHi Roland,
thank you for your input!
I understand that you wish to use the Mastodon server-side application along with Plesk. However, with Mastodon being a third-party server-side component and not being a part of Plesk, an extension to work with Plesk would be needed to develop by the makers of the Mastodon network. Maybe you can suggest to them to look into this. Plesk offers an API for extensions so that they can integrate their product with Plesk and get it certified as a Plesk extension.

Ability to disable Wordpress Toolkit check
Ability to disable WordPress toolkit check to avoid false positive and quarantine a WordPress instance that is not infected.
1 voteWe are closing this request as there was no demand for it during the course of two years. If necessary, you can disable the Security feature of WP-Toolkit by adding the following to your panel.ini file:
[ext-wp-toolkit]
autoCheckSecurityApsInstances = false
vulnerabilityFeature = false
Please do keep in mind this action will result in putting your website(s) in vulnerable state for potential security threats. Therefore, please do proceed with caution and at your own risk.

Multiple scheduled Backups
It would be useful to have the ability to make scheduled backups in more than just one FTP server, so that you have multiple backups.
For example, with the Strasbourg fire, I lost two VPSs and the server where I had backups of them.
By having a backup on an additional server, I would have limited the damage.
1 voteWe are closing this request as there was no demand for it during the course of two years. As an alternative what we can suggest is to consider configuring an additional cloud storage (Plesk can be integrated with Amazon S3, Google Drive, DropBox, DigitalOcean Spaces, Microsoft OneDrive) or manually transferring the backup copies after completion to an additional FTP server. We would still like to thank you for your input.

MariaDB Xpand. Horizontal Scaling of Both Writes & Reads.
MariaDB Xpand Database. Horizontal Scaling of Both Writes & Reads.
Horizontal Scaling Secret #1: Automatic Data Distribution
As tables and indexes are created, they are automatically “sliced” and distributed across all the nodes in the cluster. This distribution utilizes 64 bit consistent hashing based on the data keys, so each slice’s location is predictable, as well as what data it contains, from a simple metadata map. So any transaction running on any node can access any data on the cluster from at most a single hop away, and the “lookup” to find that data is a local in-memory table in…
1 voteMariaDB Xpand is typically intended for high scalability and availability in clustered environments. While technically it might be possible for integration with major manual effort, it doesn't sound practical for the main purpose of Plesk. Considering the low demand this request got over the course of two years, we are closing it.
